China encircled India in 1962, so a large number of people were captured. In North Korea, Vietnam, and even in the Chinese Civil War from 1946 to 1949, the number of captured people was much smaller than the death toll.

Basically both sides have differing stories as to what transpired that day.

After that one side has continually released videos and images to reinforce their side of the story while the other side for whatever reason has released only a single video.

What is going on here is perception battle a battle US Russia china regularly fight to affect the mood of the nation the politics of the nation etc etc.

So china is playing it's part and creating a global narrative which will eventually effect foreign govt and personnel on the long run.

If Chinese have recorded everything why they are not showing pictures of 4 dead soldier as officially admitted by them? If I am not wrong one died few weeks later. This tells there were a lot of other casualties and injuries.

China is such an honest and fair nation that it returned Indian Soilders without Indians having any bargaining chip like captured PLA soldiers (pun intended) to exchange. In the same spirit why not show Chinese casualties as well. Why releasing only one side of the pictures?
