Don't keep high hopes. ARC planes were found delivering exotic woods from Assam to Udaipur for the than RAW head :D

these flight path are hovering over or near delhi barring few who fly close to nepal border.. god knows whats there in Nepal...
Delhi is its home base, so it will start and return to Delhi.
Nepal, the plane is just following the border from Delhi to enter into North-East via Chicken's neck.

i know delhi is base for ARC but that flight path near Nepal border is making no sense....should not they be heading into Himachal side and take the path along till Leh before taking a u turn...

If you notice, your suggested path has also been followed.

Regarding following Nepal border, how else do you propose the jet to reach NE while starting from Delhi ?

This is my expectation on china front... Thats rough though. for north east, I am not sure why they are flying from delhi, We have Airports in NE to station places.. IMO ARC is well placed with multiple platforms!!!!

Okay bro, I think you are misreading this. Few things first -
  • ARC operates from Delhi (main base). It does indeed have multiple platforms, but this report probably counts only two jets (red & black lines).
  • Operations too far away from Delhi (NE/South), an intermediate base may be used. For example, Delhi -> Guwahati (stop for refuel) -> ELINT mission in Arunachal Pradesh -> Guwahati (night halt) -> Return to Delhi.
  • This report encompasses only MLAT transponder data. MLAT transponder may only be switched on for military jets while in heavy civilian traffic areas for ease of navigation to ATC. So if you notice, the jets switch off their MLAT once they reach Himachal/Punjab/Chicken's Neck.
  • The North-East trajectory, it started from Delhi, then switched off MLAT after reaching Bagdogra ATC, continued with its mission.
Cheers 🍻

Well explained. Ofcourse they are switching off the transponders beyond those airspaces.

So according to recent satellite images, it seems there is an increase in troop deployment in Ladakh forward areas, nearly across all axis.

Mind it, this is after we have nearly 20+ divisions comprising more than 80,000 troops already deployed in Ladakh.
Doesn't a division have more than 10k troops, so 20+ divisions would mean 200k+ troops?

Well, a division consists of numerous brigades. And a brigade can have multiple battalions. So it varies really, for example in Kashmir, corp responsible for border protection and CI (White Knight Corps), is phenomenally larger than other corps.

So it depends. Not saying I am correct, because I too, just threw a ballpark figure.
