What is Chinese Folk Religion though? as wikipedia quotes. They are 1.3% of the total population.
Do they consist of regular Hans?
Chings have their native gods, just like Hindus here have.
Unlike Hindus though, they don't have a wide body of religious texts that provide doctrine.
So that is "Chinese Folk Religion", it's not actually a religion because no doctrine present.
And all Chings worship these deities, doesn't matter if they call themselves Buddhist or Christian or whatever.
Yes they are your normal Hans found everywhere else.
Unless it is the (((Green Religion))) Hans are usually chill with any religion.
Maybe because centuries of Confucianism promoted by their Emperors/Dynasties.
Hans have been in conflict for the past 100 years with the Green Religion's followers, there's the Uyghur matter in PRC, the Malay momins hate the Chings in Malaysia, and so do the Indonesians hate their 2-3% Chinks.
btw the 1.3% is a meme, pretty much all of the 30% worships these dieties.
They don't identify it as a "religion" though.
