Civil brass don't have intent. They just want to play around. Its time I think It should be handed over to armed forces to deal with China. Because with China we are not to loose or gain much through diplomacy.


So let the armed forces plan and execute.

No one and I mean no one in our security establishment wants or is truly prepared for a war.

They have cosy lives, why upend it with even a small conflict?

Besides, the people who vote for this government don't understand two hoots about what the government is conceeding to the Chini. The opposition is bought off by Chini, so they will not make noise unless asked to.

It's all setup nicely. The only loser is the nation but we are asleep, so who cares?

People talk as if our military is all willing to fight and it's the civilians holding them back. Not really true. In many instances, the military itself has refused readiness with respect to the objectives demanded by the government.

We haven't lost anything in Pangong tso and Galwan, and there is only a minor intrusion in Gogra Hot springs.. The only real concern is our loss of access beyond Y-Junction in Depsang.. But, to put real pressure on PLA, to have a negotiation about Depsang, INDIA would have operationalize, the Sarser la - Murgo Road, and another road, which reaches Daulat beg oldie from behind ( as illustrated by Rohit Vats).. to avoid interdiction by Chinese at Murgo.. This would render the entire DSDBO redundant, during wartime.. The alternate route along steep cliffs, will prevent any missile attack, and would completely mask Indian troop movements..
DSDBO could then serve as a road, which would serve as a staging area for an attack into Aksai Chin..
Although I agree that Army does not want to fight a major war.. I see that not even the PLA wants a major war.. otherwise when India crossed the Indian perception of LAC on Kailash range, PLA should have launched an attack.. Also, we need to remember that close to 90000 Indian troops ( and not 50000 ) spent the tough winter in Ladakh, for the first time in History..

All these batteries will fail if drone attack of the type in Syria and Azerbaijan is launched. The CODS has already given demo of this capability. These tiny drones with big firepower are invisible to S-300 radars.
