India-China border row: Air forces hold formation in Ladakh

“IAF’s air defence assets, unmanned aerial vehicles, transport and helicopter fleets will continue to be on station in Ladakh. Our fighter airbases within 350 km of eastern Ladakh will remain on standby. Same will be true for China. The situation will change only after some political settlement is reached,” said Chopra. Apart from deploying fighter jets at bases in the Ladakh-Tibet theatre, PLAAF has also positioned a large number of radars and missiles in the sector, a second official said.

Situation in eastern Ladakh 'eased distinctly' but silent on further pullout of troops: Chinese military

@mist_consecutive @mokoman any idea why?
There is no de-escalation or disengagement, only drama and illusion of it. Pangong Tso's dis-engagement only happened because we had them by the balls in the Kailash ranges, otherwise, there has been no "goodwill" disengagement in any areas.

So if we want China to dis-engage, we will either have to pull another Op. Snow Leopard elsewhere, or accept the new status quo.

Nope.. what I am saying is.. whatever we say, or get aggressive, the West will not respect us, until we become a 10 trillion dollar economy, and have a GDP per capita approaching that of China today.. where we build a country that has minimal poverty..
It does not mean that we take things lying down.. But, what really matters, is what we do with the Indian economy...
it does not have to be an on/off switch,it has to be be modulated and progressively rise like china.china did not suddenly escalate,but gradually,only the covid bought a kick to the aasses of the west,and even then it is not that much of a wake up call it seems by their reaction.there is no perfect time for passive agressive talk,you must establish a beach head first and then slowly expand inspite of return fire.

Indian diplomats are not better than any sarkari babu.. they have no goal, no pride, no interest in Indian cause, .. they only care for their career and after retirement..

In this scenario Pakistani and Chinese are better they always work for their country interest..
more like they have atleast the threat of harsher punishment due to the government types and the kind of way they take public displays of not putting up a fight.their diplomats only hold back if they literally have no choice,otherwise it is wolf warrior mode.the chinese in the border sat down and talked with us for descalation because we fucked them bad and did not give them any other choice.the pakis on the otherhand have no leverage and so their diplomats cannot do so much.otherwise their diplomats are even more shameless as they can and have even got involved in petty crime abroad.
