With almost no imports and low stock, these traders are failing to meet demands from Dhaka and other parts of the country

After barely weathering the Covid-19 pandemic shock, Jashore's motor parts traders are facing a fresh blow as letter of credit (LC) opening restrictions continue to batter their businesses to uncertainty.
.
Home to thousands of motor parts businesses, Jashore's RN Road is often dubbed the "auto parts capital" of Bangladesh. Traders of this south-western district import motor components from NEIGHBOURING INDIA and sell them to the rest of the country
.
Now, with LC opening restrictions, their stock is dwindling with little to no import opportunities. These traders are failing to meet demands from Dhaka and other parts of the country. Some are finding it hard to pay employee salaries while others are faced with the risk of dealership cancellations

Ghashti ka inbred bachha Bilol back at spreading BS.

Ironically He is picking up motor-vehicle stats for both countries , but calls it "car ownership stats for Bhosdesh" .

However, compared to other Asian countries, the passenger car penetration is still very low in Bangladesh. (in Bangladesh) There are only 2.5 car owners per 1000 population. In India, 30 people among 1000 individuals owned a car at the end of 2018.
someone remind him the reality. I am seeing Indian member agreeing to his BS>

Yeah, quoted figures from this;

Vehicles per capita != car ownership; lol. Bd's consumption is anyway less than pakjabis and sub-Saharan Africa

is that yunus she is referring to by saying MD of grameen bank ?
Yeah, I was surprised. She is picking on pretty much everyone these days.

there was this article on The Print explaining this very attack by Hasina, give it a read. (I had posted this here before, because our Info Narayan Murthy with other Globalists had written an open letter decrying Hasina's stand against Yunus ). Jyothi Malhotra is apparently a big fan of Hasina and prolly has close contact with her on a personal level :

So if Hasina is such an unusual leader, the question begs itself. Why target Muhammad Yunus, a civilian who founded the most successful microcredit organisation in the world, Grameen Bank? In these past decades, the 82-year-old has shown the world that the poor are capable of not just learning how to fish, but also selling the fish in the market and making a profit.
But there’s much more to Hasina’s anger than a few million dollars in alleged corruption. Truth is, in 2007-2008, when the army was pulling the strings in Bangladesh, running the quasi-democratic government from behind the scenes, Yunus threw in his lot with them and started the Nagorik Shakti Party. Hasina felt he was siding with the military and against traditional political parties like Hasina’s Awami League and Khaleda Zia’s Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). She was furious. It was the beginning of the antagonism between Yunus and Hasina.
Four years later, when the World Bank pulled its financing from the Padma bridge project, because of corruption kickbacks, Hasina saw red — she was convinced that Yunus was behind the embarrassment to her and to her beloved country. That’s where the “Yunus should be dunked twice in the Padma” comes from.

27 cars per 1,000 population means Bangladesh would have 4.45 million cars.

Average annual car sales in Bangladesh is less than 20,000.

Even at a rate of 20,000 cars sold per annum, Bangladesh would need 223 years to have a total sale of 4.45 million cars.... And I don't think they'll be around for so long.:pound: :pound:

Now you know why underwear-stitching-land does so poor in literally anything related to science or technology. @Crazywithmath

They use trash cans from India and neighbour countries meant for scrap. May be that's what he meant by car.
