America's endorsment is more than enough. if Americans were lying, maybe you explain why would they do that to india, are you good buddies?

What?

1. America made no claim infact LM trolled Gafoora when he made claim that no F 16 was shot down by IAF.

2. They didn't issued any rebuttal to IAF repeated claims .

3. Can you please clarify why are you dumping JF 17 to porkshitstain and not inducting in your airforce if it is such good that it can take out sukhoi 30 mki .

Get well soon

Finally, location of F16 of PAF has been identified in broad area.
must thank friends from Twitter, most specifically Anshuman Mainkar @anshumig, Biswhwa @bishwa55900127, Chowkidar Shiv @bennedose, Raghu @Vakil_Raghu and others who have helped.

We have 5 videos based on which, shot from various location,

001.jpg

video shot from green arrow side.

video shot from blue arrow side.

video shot between pink and green arrow side

video shot from red arrow side, this is Mirpur.

past one not 100% sure which side it was short, but more so from Pink side.

Just to be clear that video shows puff of smoke. From known F16 controlled parachute video, its clear that it was parachute ejection sequence of F16. Shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBJyG0dqVkE

Now that we have all things, best video is the one where celebrations is going on and someone shot the falling plane.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4bTMf3GOEM

we will come back to picture from screen shot of plane later on. First we have to check if this is Mig21 bison. For that we will check the video against the known geo location of the Mig 21 parts which fell on POK. All of the parts are marked, including where Abhinandan parachuted.

33 13'28.9"N 73 57'53.3"E Mig21 crash site.

33 13'03"N 73 57'01" E Location of mig21 part

33 12'52"N 73 57'00"E Location of mig21 part debri.

33 12'56.0"N 73 56'56.3"E Location of some debri

33 12'56.57"N 73 57'30.28"E (Abhi landing)

Since we know from celebration video

We know the location of sun and time of incident, which is around 10.30AM to 10.40AM.

Based on this and based on Mig21 locations in POK. We have tried to match the topography of the locations.

002.jpg

Red area is the most possible location of the area at the bottom pic, if video is taken, as we have taken position of the sun and place where video of celebration was supposed to have shot.
003.jpg

Then we have tried to match it with google earth’s view from this area.

004.jpg

There is no match between the two. In celebration videos, mountains are increasing on left, whereas in Mig 21 locations, mountains are increasing at right side. So this Mig21 locations does not match with whats in the video. That means its not Mig 21 video.

Once it is deducted with sufficient evidence that its not Mig 21. Then we proceed to find out the location of the this F16.

All I can say is --

Indian Radar Data That Supposedly Proves They Downed An F-16 Is Far From "Irrefutable"
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zo...s-they-downed-an-f-16-is-far-from-irrefutable

Besides, videos always have more impact on the general public than radar screen grabs that do not show context. Just imagine a press conference by IAF showing these videos with blow-by-blow analysis on why it's the Pakistani F-16... That would be a slum dunk!

The only problem is that these videos clearly do not show an F-16. And the IAF knows it cannot fool anyone with it as these videos can easily be verified once they are plastered on TV screens worldwide by experts and by the persons themselves who took these videos.
:dude:
The drive is a left wing source of US. You can expect some heavy "we are usa, and our tech is the best" kind of journalism. This is almost in all of there articles.

Besides, if you haven't noticed, the information channels from our side have been pealing one by one, there might be a video as well, but they are not showing us ... and for good reasons and thats reasonable, because if they showed that, then PAF and entire world can get a glimpse of actual combat manuevers by IAF pilots and that is something you don't want your adversery and future ones to know. That simply logical in context of everything.

These are the exact words form paf radio channels:

"EK PARINDA AUR GIR GAYA HAI" ... that's in urdu. That is for F16. (Source Rajya Sabha TV) over Javanghir and Naushere (Location of downed jet)

As per our AWACS maintains a database of electronic signatures of diffrent fighter jets ... that what AWACS do also. You ain't buying AWACS for show, you are buying for that electronic database as well. If an F16 was detected than it was Period

To be very honest, we accepted that our pilot was downed, we accepted that there were SU 30MKIs too, we also accepted that there were munitions dropped. For us 1 IAF jets for every two to three PAF jets (there were close to 22 jets in that airspace of PAF) is still impressive.

We now know how they are going to react. And this situations is already been studies upon in war colleges already.

so, who has been lying about this mysterious shooting down of f16? some of them didn't tell the truth. Indian authority needs to provide evidence more convincing than radar screen snapshot.
Than go and ask your business partner PAF for those, because they havent showed any! Double Standards.
Besides, why don't they show a video ... we atlest took the liberty to do so although a radar image (reasonable) ... but for PAF nope because it would be a huge shit storm for PAF, because then world would see a F16 downing ... Lol KARMA IS A BIG BITCH:hehe:

I am really surprised at the audacity of Chinese and Pakistani posters on this forum. Chinese need to ask their government about Chinese concentration camps. Pakistani need to ask their government about police murders and isi bombings within Pakistan.

In this video posted by @sayareakd the MiG is on the left and F-16 on right. Do a mirror image of that scene and you get MiG on right and F-16 on left. That is what is seen on the IAF radar images.

I have superimposed the radar images on Google Earth and here are the images. It looks like F-16 was over Mangla reservoir - but we know that it was going west when it crashed (from the watermarked video). We know the pilot landed on land, not water. We know that Abhinandan and the Paki pilot were not too far from each other

MIG 21 vs F-16: Can a 3rd Generation MIG-21 Really Shoot-Down Hi-tech F-16 Aircraft?

MIG 21 vs F-16 Fighter Jet – How does the Russian/Indian MIG-21 Bison compete against Pakistani/US F-16 Fighter Jets? India insisted that its MIG-21 Bison fighter jet shot down a 4th generation Pakistani Air Force F-16 which raised many eyebrows. How do experts compare the India MIG-21 Bison vs Pakistani F-16?

The IAF claimed that one of its MiG-21 fighters downed a PAF F-16 after Pakistan said that it had shot down two Indian jets as tensions continue to mount between India and Pakistan. The Pakistan Air Force has denied any losses adding that they did not use an F-16 during the engagement.

MiG-21 vs F-16 Fighter Jet
MiG-21 is one of the most widely used fighter aircraft of the IAF. This single engine, single seater multirole fighter aircraft of Russian origin forms the backbone of the IAF. MiG-21 BISON is a multi-role, all-weather air defence aircraft which can hit a maximum speed of 2,230 kilometers per hour (Mach 2.1). It carries one 23mm twin-barrel cannon with four R-60 close combat missiles.

On the other hand, the F-16 which is also called Fighting Falcon is famous for its agility and these fighter jets were first inducted in Pakistan Air Force in early 80s. Pakistan Air Force uses the F-16C/D variants of F 16, which is a multirole combat aircraft.

The MiG 21 fighter jet is equipped with modern Radar and Avionics systems and carries a mix of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons. In 1962, an agreement was signed by the Indian government with the Soviet Union to buy the MiG-21 and deliveries began the next year. Bengaluru-based Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) started making the first MiG-21 in 1967 after receiving the licence from the Soviet Union.

Available in both single-seat and double seat configuration, the F-16 Falcon is a single-engine aircraft. The fighter jet can pull 9-g manoeuvres, reaching a maximum speed over Mach 2. It has a maximum high speed of 2120 kmph, a length of 15.06 metre and a wingspan of 9.96 meters. Weighing 8570 kg (dry), the F 16 jet has a maximum takeoff weight of 19200 kg. Powered by a General Electric F110-GE-129 engine, this fighter jet has a dry thrust of 17,155 lbf (76.3 kN) and Thrust with afterburner of 28,600 lbf (127 kN).

Though the MiG-21 is not a very large aircraft, it can fly at a very high speed which allows it to sneak up to enemy planes from low altitude. The presence of a delta wing, just like Mirage 2000, makes the MiG 21 highly manoeuvrable in dogfights. MiG 21 is a single seater plane with a length of 14.7 m (48 ft 2 in) and a wingspan of 7.154 m (23 ft 6 in). The empty weight of MiG 21 is 5,846 kg (12,880 lb) and its loaded weight is 8,725 kg (19,230 lb) with 2 × K-13A missiles. The maximum takeoff weight of this fighter jet is 9,800 kg (21,600 lb). Powered by a 1 × Tumansky R-25-300 afterburning turbojet, the dry thrust of MiG 21 is 40.21 kN (9,040 lbf) and the thrust with afterburner is 69.62 kN; 97.1 kN WEP (15,650 lbf; 21,825 lbf WEP).

The MiG 21 is loaded with one internal 23 mm Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23L autocannon with 200 rounds. It can carry air-to-air missiles, air-to-surface missiles, KAB-500KR TV-guided bombs and 4 × 500 kg (1,100 lb) bombs. The F-16 can carry rockets, air-to-air missiles, air-to-surface missiles and air-to-ship missiles along with a wide variety of bombs. Like Mirage 2000, it also comes equipped with a radar onboard.

Can a MIG-21 Shoot-Down F-16?
News reports from battle zones often contain “inaccuracies or deliberate disinformation,” but it doesn’t mean that a MiG-21 couldn’t have hit an F-16, even though the two planes are of completely “different generations,” Mikhail Khodarenok, military expert and retired colonel who served in Russian missile defense forces, told RT.

The MiG-21 is a third-generation supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft, which was introduced into the Soviet military in 1959. The F-16 is a fourth-generation supersonic multirole fighter, which entered service with the US Air Force almost two decades later.

Obviously, the F-16 has much more advanced characteristics, including the combat radius of 547 km, compared to 370 km of MiG-21. However, Khodarenok explained that the MiG-21-93 ‘Bison’ used by the Indian Air Force is “a largely modernized version of the aircraft.”

“Its ‘Spear’ radar system allows tracking down incoming enemy aircraft at a distance of up to 57 kilometers” in the front and up to 30 kilometers in the rear. It can track eight targets at the same time, with “the quick search and automatic capture of visually observed targets in close combat mode concluding with the use of guided missiles or cannon.”

MiG-21 Bison boasts medium-range R-77 air-to-air self-guided missiles as part of its arsenal. They have a range of 110 kilometers and can reach the speed of 4250 km/h while carrying a 22-kilogram warhead, he said. “So MiG-21-93 could’ve well shot down an F-16. And could’ve done it easily,” Khodarenok said. “Besides, the best plane is the one with the best pilot inside. The rest is details.”

@bennedose @sayareakd , while the disappearing off the radar could have been over the areas your marked, the IAF pressler also mentioned that the chute of possible F-16 plane was seen at Sabz Kot area.
Isn't it possible that the aircraft went below radar range at area you mention, but fell at Sabz Kot due to its momentum?
Secondly, have you taken care of the magnification of your google earth image and the IAF radar images to ensure they are same. How did you do that?

@bennedose love your handle name... I do love one, but with masala ofcourse :p

Adjusting magnification is easy. The image overlay displays the controls. That damn sabzkot is killing me. The only friggin Sabzkot on maps is 120 km away!!! Dang. Someone please locate some other subzkot
I can't help with that strange Sabz Kot, but there is Mirpur Hamlet towards the north-east part of Mangla reservoir.

@sayareakd you can see the red star which is where 1st Chute was seen is near a stream thats flowing into Mangla Reservoir!
Latitude and longitude also seem to be indicated on the scale if you see behind the AVM
