The rioters are not his loyal but same culprits who were involve in earlier riots at Haryana ..

The ringleaders should be shot on sight if seems necessary ..
These goons for hire must be in bed with politicians else it is not possible for them to operate. Killing these local goons will not solve the problem. They will be replaced by someone else. Politicians bend towards these babas for vote bank politics.
Till we will have ignorant followers and people crazy for their imaginary friend we will continue to suffer with such incidents.
What we need is education and development along with amendment to freedom granted for Religious practise.

Ram Rahim rape verdict: Both BJP, Congress sought favours from Dera Sacha Sauda chief

The political class’ apparent silence on the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case and the ensuing violence appeared to hint towards the religious sect’s political clout.

Both the BJP and the Congress have sought favours from the Dera chief from time to time in the run up to elections.

While political leaders have remained mum on the court verdict, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi have condemned violence by Dera followers and appealed for peace.

Based at Sirsa in Haryana, the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda are mainly Dalits but also include Sikhs, Muslims and Christians.

Though the Dera claims to be apolitical, it started a political affairs wing (PAW) in 2007 to advice its followers on whom to vote for. The Dera’s call to its followers — which it claims run into crores — to support a particular party changes the poll outcome in many seats of Haryana and Punjab as they vote as a block.

For several years, the Dera chief had dabbled in vote-bank politics and helped different parties in a strategic manner.

But his steady drift towards the BJP started in 2014 with the sect backing the saffron party in that year’s Lok Sabha and Haryana assembly elections. The sect even supported the BJP during the 2015 Delhi assembly polls.

While campaigning in the Haryana assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Dera chief in a public rally at Sirsa on October 11, 2014. He followed it up with a tweet on October 30, 2014 lauding the Dera chief for his efforts in the Clean India campaign.

As recent as on Thursday, Haryana education minister Ram Bilas Sharma defended the buildup of Dera followers in Panchkula , calling them “simple and peace-loving people.” On Friday, BJP leader Sakshi Maharaj questioned the CBI court’s decision and called the Dera chief a “noble soul.”

Ahead of this year’s assembly elections in Punjab, the Dera had officially announced its support to the SAD-BJP combine. However, the Congress swept the polls and regained power after 10 years. This was the second time since 2007 that a party supported by Dera had lost Punjab polls.

In the 2007 assembly elections in Punjab, the Dera had asked its followers to vote for the Congress. This was a departure from the past as the Dera till then was traditionally anti-Congress and had supported individual candidates based on merit.

The reason for extending support to the Congress was the alleged repression of the Dera and its followers by the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and other Sikh groups after Ram Rahim posed in a dress that made him look like the tenth Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh.

In the 2012 Punjab polls, the Dera did not support any party despite Captain Amarinder Singh seeking blessings from Ram Rahim. However, buzz in political circles later suggested that Dera had supported the Akali Dal candidates.

A relative of Dera chief, Harminder Singh Jassi, has been a Congress legislator from Punjab.

Diffrence between muzzies rioting and DSS rioting is muzzies would get a violent response. But as DSS has Hindu,Sikh,Muslim,Christian followers you cannot blame it onto a particular people.
Bhai, they themselves don't identify as any of the religions you mentioned. I don't think any of you guys have ever met a premi in your lives. When they join this cult, they take the last name insaan and call themselves premis under the premise that they don't have a religion any more. They are just members of this insane dangerous cult.

As for violent response, have you guys even watched the kind of damage they are doing to civilian property? The only reason they are being shot is because they are doing it in Panchkula where a lot of Haryana's elite live. Heck General Malik lives near the location of this incident (hope he is safe). A lot of police officers, judges, ministers and other VVIP people live nearby. That is the only reason the police is showing any response to this incident.

Otherwise, if you go by the statements of the ministers, they are not going to bite the hand that feeds them or in other words gives them votes.

Please stop calling these idiots by the name of Hindus or Sikhs, it denigrates our religions. We are not low IQ subhumans who go about hurting people and burning their personal property.

I initiated this thread not for silly religious commentary from a few, but how GRR will pose a potential National Security threat. Yes, a few points on evanjihad, and how his followers are now exposed to 'soul harvesters' are good and worthy for this thread, but attacks on an individual when we are supposed to be discussing how bad he has screwed up with National Security is totally unwarranted.
Would like to request to please focus on the title. For those claiming he might be innocent, there is no proof of his rape - he is a criminal, he sought to undermine the security of the nation. He could be easily slapped a charge for that.

A follow-up to my last post. Now, this is really scary from a National Security POV. Evanjihads need to be tackled with an iron-fist and that was initiated through monitoring of NGOs, but even such individuals who undermine National Security also should be tackled with an iron fist

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/indiahom...ts-ex-servicemen-training-militias-gurus.html

Babus cannot live without muscle and guns. The godmen in India may thrive on blind faith but they themselves put faith in private militias.

Not just ‘godman’ Rampal — whose private army fought a pitched battle as he waged a war against the state, it has now come to light that even Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the Dera Sacha Sauda supremo, too has a private army to protect him.

The militia includes both serving and retired Army personnel who train youngsters in military tactics.

Probe: It has come to the attention of police that Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the Dera Sacha Sauda supremo, has a private army to protect him

Dera Sacha Sauda's private army mirrors the private army of ‘godman’ Rampal who was arrested on November 19 from his Satlok Ashram

In a statement to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, senior advocate Anupam Gupta—who has been appointed as the amicus curiae in Rampal’s case—has stated that Dera followers are being trained by these personnel.

After Rampal’s arrest on November 19, the court had sought details of the activities in Ram Rahim’s deras.

When Mail Today contacted the Dera Sacha Sauda, its spokesperson Pawan Insan did not respond to repeated calls and text messages.

“There are reports that the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda are getting arms training from former Indian Army personnel.

“Some serving Army personnel also impart training and take part in Dera activities, like blood donation camps,” Gupta told Mail Today.

Gupta on Friday had told the High Court that the presence of Indian Army personnel in the Dera and their activities may pose a danger to the security of the nation.

Expressing displeasure, the court asked Gupta about who runs the Dera Sacha Sauda.

It was then that Gupta informed the High Court that the organisation is run by Gurmeet Ram Rahim.

Gupta further informed the court that the Dera chief is facing trials in cases of “murder, rape and castration of followers”.

Internal order

The Army is aware of the threat from the Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS).

In an internal letter of the Indian Army, a copy of which is with Mail Today, personnel have been asked to “abstain from getting directly or indirectly involved with the organisation (Dera Sacha Sauda) in any manner”.

The December 13, 2010, letter— signed by Lt Col N.S. Bhatti— states that “some ex-servicemen are engaging themselves in imparting weapons training to activists of Dera Sacha Sauda at their HQ located at Sirsa”.

The letter also states that “reportedly some serving personnel have been participating in activities of Dera Sacha Sauda… like blood donation camps”.

The letter further states, the instruction of staying away from the Dera Sacha Sauda should be intimated to everyone in unit and sub-unit levels for “strict compliance”.

Dera Sacha Sauda’s private army mirrors the private army of ‘godman’ Rampal who was arrested on November 19 from his Satlok Ashram.

After a two-week stand-off, the security forces managed to clear the Satlok Ashram and arrest the godman, despite stiff opposition from his private army.

As Mail Today had reported, Rampal was protected by his 8,000-strong private militia that went by the name of Rastriya Samaj Sewa Samiti (RSSS).

The private army included ex-Army personnel and former Haryana police officers who guarded Rampal’s 12-acre ashram in Barwala round the clock.

The ex-soldiers also trained youths in military tactics.

Armed with sophisticated weapons, acid tankers, crude bombs and petrol bombs, they formed the Quick Reaction Teams tasked to ensure Rampal’s safety, besides securing the ashram precinct.

They communicated through walkie-talkies and were controlled from a ‘war room’ within the ashram.

According to sources, the RSSS operated like an Army battalion, divided into companies and platoons, each headed by a commander.

The militia included individuals who hailed from Haryana, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

Rampal paid Rs 40,000 per month to each ex-Army personnel who worked as a commander.

Sources said Rs 25,000 was paid to sub-commanders and Rs 15,000 to commandos.

Under scanner

With the Rampal episode fresh in mind, observers say, the Dera Sacha Sauda will continue to be under the scanner.

There have been past instances when DSS followers were booked by the police for violence.

This month itself, Dera followers and members of Sikh organisations opposed to DSS had clashed at Jogewala village in Punjab’s Ferozepur in which an infant was killed and about 12 people injured.

Meanwhile, sources told Mail Today that the organisation is now trying to consolidate its base in Punjab.

Shamed godman Rampal was prepared to use violence to intimidate police

‘Rampal wanted his men killed in action’

By Manjeet Sehgal

Police investigations and cross-examination of self-styled godman Rampal’s associates have revealed that the baba was in favour of violence, so that the police would get scared and not dare to arrest him.

This revelation is in contrast to Rampal’s claims that his supporters had captured him while the stand-off took place outside the Satlok Ashram in Barwala before he was finally captured by security agencies on November 19.

Investigations have revealed that Rampal’s associates were hatching conspiracies inside the ashram while the administration was trying to complete the operation peacefully.

“Those who were holding the baba’s followers hostage wanted to incite the police and indulge in firing.

“Rampal also wanted to destroy the image of the police to mount pressure on the administration.

“The police, however, was not in favour of firing,” Hisar Police Superintendent Satyendra Gupta told Mail Today.

He added that Rampal wanted his followers to be killed in action to “send a message among the masses that the police attacked innocent followers”.

Investigations have also revealed that Rampal had permitted the entry of four female followers in his residence without any check.

While the police have already arrested head ‘sevika’ Batiba from the ashram, efforts were being made to arrest the remaining three.

Meanwhile, the police said it will take three to four more days to complete the search operation at Satlok Ashram.

Blockade: Rampal's supporters resorted to violence to prevent the security forces from arresting him

“The ashram is spread over an area of 12 acres. We have yet to search around 30 per cent area of the ashram. It will take three to four days to complete the search operation,” Satyendra Gupta said.

During the previous searches, a special investigating team of the Haryana Police had found arms, bullet-proof jackets, ammunition and even a pregnancy test kit from the ashram.

And so far, a total of 900 followers of the controversial godman have been arrested on various charges.

I am not well informed about the caste distribution of his followers,

but as u said they are illiterate than obviously majority will come from dalit background
may i !!!

infect majority is not informed about caste distribution in punjab......

among sikhs...
2% are upper caste khatris and aroras....
2% are jats , jats got a dalit status but they own 80% of agreculture land ...
rest 96% are ati-dalits .....they work as servents in the field owned by jats...
the discrimination is to a extent that a
Jat sikh boy kills himself day after marriage
discovering that wife’s mother is a ati-dalit ( google it)..
only 2% of the cultiable land is owned by ati-dalits , and they continously targeted to giveup their land , their family members threaten and killed...,

so , these ati-dalits got united under Ramdasias , deras like Ram rahim and Radha swami ...( and there are thousends of many other deras in hsryana and punjab )

if punjab remain with indian union in 1947 & during 1980s , its was just because that the ati- dalits do not agree and these deras kept them united....
khalustan movement was/is run by these handfull of jats.....they think , like in pakistan they too will form a " house of landlords " and kept the power with them for next many generations......

there is a big element of friction present against these deras and they remain in continous clash , sometimes these clashs became bloody ........radha swamis are mainly always on target radar ....

conspiracy can not be ruled out !!!

Tension At Dera Ashram In Puri As Locals Protest Violence In Haryana
Last updated Aug 25, 2017
KalingaTV News

Puri: Tension erupted in the premises of Dera Sacha Sauda Ashram here on Friday evening after some locals protested against the violence by Dera followers in Haryana and other states.

Dera followers have been on a rampage in Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and other states since a special CBI court in Panchkula in Haryana convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the head of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect, of rape earlier in the day. As many as 28 people have been killed and over 100 others injured in continuing violence after the verdict.

Many members of Puri Sachetana Nagarika Mancha gathered in front of the ashram on Puri-Konark Marine Drive and raised slogans against the violence carried out by the Dera supporters.

Ram Rahim’s followers torched many vehicles including media vehicles at different places of Punjab and Haryana and New Delhi. They also attacked some news men.

Two empty rakes of Rewa Express were also torched by the mob at Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station following which security was beefed up across Delhi. Section 144 under CrPC was imposed in 11 districts of Delhi including New Delhi.

Around 250 trains enroute to Delhi, Haryana and Punjab were cancelled due to violence.

President Ramnath Kovind has condemned the violence and damage to public property. Besides, he appealed to citizens to maintain peace. Many other political leaders, including Congress President Sonia Gandhi, expressed their concern over the clash and appealed for peace and calm.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has called for a high-level meeting on the issue tomorrow.
