Once this new law is enacted, twitter will again be asked to comply with banning or restricting xyz account(s). Twitter might try to test GoI's patience, in which case it will get a temporary ban, maybe for as little as a few hours first time. Then the duration of bans will increase with each subsequent incident of twitter's misdemeanour. Eventually, if twitter doesn't mend its ways, it will be banned permanently. All this while, there will be repeated headlines of twitter being temp. banned for blatant violation of Indian law for the nth time. Such repeated headlines will ensure that when twitter is finally banned, people of India have lost faith in twitter the same way they lost faith in farmer's demands.

we don't need to ban it, just cut the feet from under it and show it it's place. that statement did that quite amply. Such statements are bound to be diplomatic and moderate in tone. Come what may some desi alternative will come up soon with all important govt handles and ministers also moving there. twitter can become an utter lelib hugbox for all that they want.

This could perhaps be the first major instance of a prominent public figure in Bharat first sharing an update on a platform other than twatter, and only following up with a twatter update a while later.

Piyush Goyal’s tweet speaks volumes about how serious the government of Bharat might be in its effort to wean off its dependence on twatter . If I remember correctly mobile operator can stop traffic on apps. More or less many sites were previously blocked by operators without govt. asking to block them. But the latest data shows a completely different story — the domain was again registered on 28th October 2019, and this time it was registered in Karnataka, BHARAT. The entity to which the domain is registered is Bombinate Technologies Private Limited, which is the name of Koo’s parent company.

Moreover, the latest data shows that the app is hosted on servers in Mumbai, BHARAT.


As such, it would appear that the domain kooapp.com was with a Chinese company till April 2019, at which point it was discarded. It when then acquired by Koo app on 28th October 2019, which is a completely common practice — domains regularly change hands between people who no longer have use for them, and others who might. Since October 2019, which is roughly around when Koo was founded, the domain has been registered in Karnataka India, and its servers are currently in Mumbai.


But the Cucksgress party used an old screenshot with old data to imply that the Koo app was somehow Chinese - LMFAO. It’s one thing for the cucksgress to try to take down the BJP government but this bychcraft is to badmouth our startups.
