An Islamic nation/kingdom/empire will eventually go for an expansionist war with its neighbor
This is due to Islam being an inherently anti-capitalistic faith and very much dictating every aspect of its follower's life.
This causes its citizens to become poverty-ridden citizens and eventually causes bankruptcy of any Islamic/sharia state
In the time of natural disasters, a bankrupt state faces internal revolts and rebellion
To quash these rebellions the King/President relies on the military to use force and religious mullah to pacify those who haven't chosen to rebel yet
This causes the weakening of civilian institutions and the strengthening of military and mullahs.
The only way to economically sustain the nation at this point is to invade surrounding neighbors and steal their wealth.
Once the neighbor is conquered, impose zakat on kaffir + sell kafir into the slave trade, and use these earnings to fund state and future conquests. No efforts for economic innovation / economic self-sufficiency and scientific advancement.
In a way, Islamic states are pretty much parasites on non-Islamic neighbors who have chosen to tolerate them.
This is the lifecycle of Islamic nations
- Become Muslim
- Become poor
- Start a war and loot the neighbor
- Impose Zakat / sell kafir into the slave trade to economically sustain the state
- Show no scientific innovations or willingness to adopt advances due to Mullah's influence.
- Get preyed upon by a scientifically advanced civilization (Europe and very soon East Asia)
Pakistan today is in the exact state an Islamic nation ends up in
