The PLAAF never wanted the JF-17 in the first place. It was an obsolete fighter design and they preferred the J-10C over JF-17. It was forced down their throat by the CCP after Pakistan pled for JF-17 planes. So PLAAF only made the bare minimum purchases of JF-17 as a token purchase and only marketed it to 3rd world countries that could not afford anything else. If it wasn't for the western avionics PAF installed on JF-17 planes, it would be a joke.

There is a big lesson to Indians here. Pakis didn't produce anything valuable ever. Pakis didn't create any wealth in their history. Instead they borrowed money to subsidize oil, electricity, and everything else. A vast amount of that borrowed money was stolen and moved out country by their leaders. Now nobody wants to give Pakis money anymore and the subsidies have to be removed. No choice.

These are the laws of nature and India is not immune from it.
