Pak High Commission Dhaka burgled

DHAKA: In the evening of November 22, unknown burglars broke into the Consular Section of Pakistan High Commission, Dhaka, and took away computers containing official records and sensitive data.

According to a press release, the matter has been reported to the diplomatic zone police station in Gulshan. Pakistan High Commission, Dhaka said the incident of burglary at the high commission, in the highly sensitive diplomatic zone, is regrettable and a matter of grave concern to the diplomatic missions. It said the Bangladeshi authorities have been requested to investigate the incident of burglary and bring the culprits to justice. The Bangladesh authorities have also been requested to beef up security of foreign missions, diplomats and their supporting staff to thwart any such incidents in future.

Before that China has made such campus or suburb for its citizens in Africa and Central Asia. There are allegations that the Chinese government is going to buy land in eastern Russia and northern Myanmar. There have been dissatisfaction with local colonies in many places with Chinese colonies.

The city, built at a cost of about $ 150 millions in Gwadar, Pakistan, will be a part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This will be the first colony of China in South Asia. According to the Economic Times, houses will be built to settle up to 5 lakh Chinese citizens in this city and it will be ready till 2022 . In fact, China plans to build several financial districts in Gwadar under the Pakistani capital, CPEC. The city is being built to accommodate Chinese workers working in these districts.

China-Pak Investment Corporation has purchased 36 lakh sq ft of land in Gwadar and it will create settlements for the Chinese people to live. China has invested heavily in Pakistan’s pipeline, railways, highways, mobile networks, power plants, industrial areas. All these investments have been made under Border Road Initiative (BRI) and CPEC. Significantly, CPEC is one of the main projects of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). It will connect China’s Sinaiq province to Gwadar port of Pakistan, which will lead China’s reach to the Arabian Sea. This project passes through Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, due to which India has been opposing it.

Now It seems that Pakistan is going to become slave of china in future as East India company had done with India in the past.

70 Yrs After Snatching It from India, Pak Selling Gilgit-Baltistan land to China

Locals in Gilgit-Baltistan — bigger of the two parts of the Kashmir region occupied by Pakistan — are protesting against Islamabad grabbing large tracts of their land and handing it over to Chinese companies and the Red Army.

Information showed that the land was procured mostly by force by Pakistani generals for the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and those resisting are either killed off or incarcerated without a trial.


"Thousands had their land snatched and occupied by the military authorities and their agencies. Under this black draconian rule, nobody can raise their voices against the CPEC," Wajahat Hasan, Chairman of the Gilgit-Baltistan Thinkers Forum (GBTF), told CNN-News18.

Many there fear that the next step in the land grab is the posting of Pakistani and Chinese troops in the disputed land that was snatched from India immediately after Partition.

Bhai as far as I am concerned it is an absolute travesty that us Pakistanis have not launched our own SLV when we have had more than the requisite capabilities to achieve such an objective, we could have easily been the first Muslim nation to launch a satellite into space on our own rocket considering the fact that in 1962 we were only one of ten nations to launch a suborbital rocket (Rehbar-I two-staged Solid-fuel rocket), a feat that India had not then achieved, it has been sheer unforgivable negligence by each and every administration to neglect SUPARCO which could have been the NASA of the Muslim world, perhaps this new PTI government will make a difference with this new collaboration with China which I believe will be limited to the development and launch of satellites on Chinese SLVs.Kudos bhai

One of the most bizarre runouts in cricket history happened in Australia on Thursday when Pakistan’s Azhar Ali was caught talking to teammate Asad Shafiq in the middle of the pitch when he suddenly realized he was out.

What the heck am I watching here?
In cricket players score by running between the two ends of the pitch and switching sides. The only time they stay in place and still score is when the ball is hit to the boundary, either on the ground or through the air.

Both Ali and Shafiq thought the ball had reached the boundary, meaning four runs — however it stopped short, meaning the ball was still live. So, while the players were standing in the middle of the field discussing strategy for the remainder of their innings, the ball was live — allowing Australia to throw the ball in, and get Ali out.

How rare is this?
Run outs are fairly common in cricket, but normally it happens due to players pushing the limits trying to eek out an extra run or being caught out of position. It’s very rare to see a player get out because they lost all awareness of what was happening, particularly for as long as Ali an Shafiq stood there, blissfully unaware of what was happening.

Did it impact the game?
Not really. Pakistan is killing Australia, up 491 runs in two days. Pakistan will probably win, but we’ll have this moment forever.

Rubbing Salt On Wounds? After Winning The Compensation Case, BCCI To Fork Out Rs 15 Crore Legal Fees From Pakistan

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has written a letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) seeking expenses of the compensation case that the BCCI won previous month against the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), reports Mumbai Mirror.

In a recent letter to the ICC’s Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC), BCCI has asked for its legal expenses of Rs 15 crore to be paid by the Pakistani board.

The DRC, headed by English barrister Michael J Beloff, had Dr Anabelle Bennet and Jan Paulsson as members.

The three-member Beloff panel quashed the PCB’s claim of an estimated Rs 447 crore from the BCCI for not honouring a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that had mandated a bilateral series between the two neighbours. The countries have only faced each other in multilateral tournaments and have not played a bilateral match since January 2013.

A party can seek legal expenses in a case, and the DRC can determine that, as per the terms and conditions of ICC’s dispute resolution policy. A Dubai-based law firm Herbert Smith Freehills was hired by BCCI along with a British Lawyer Ian Mills QC to represent them in the case.

The BCCI also called former union minister Salman Khurshid, former BCCI employees Sundar Raman and Ratnakar Shetty along with former BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel as its witnesses. The hearing in the matter took place in the first week of October in Dubai.

The matter is also likely to come up at an Asian Cricket Council meeting in Dhaka on 13 December.
