It’s actually the same tactic that they try with us - praise from one side while rebuke from the other. Depending on what a country’s behavior is, they pull that particular string. They couldn’t care if the Pakistani Army nuked their own country’s population.
The problem with Americans using this technique is that they assume that everyone actually cares what they think - especially Russia, India and China, all 3 just share a laugh and continue doing what they did.
Russia may be many things but even at the height of their power they didn’t treat us this way. Yes, they bought out Indira Gandhi, but look at the way US treats its “Allies” - it’s like they’re it’s sex slaves. Use and throw - that’s all you see. Pakistan may be a shit hole, but they treat Poland, Romania, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Japan and South Korea the same way.
Kissinger was right; having them as your Allies is a curse. I hope that India jumps on to the Safran engine offer instead of the GE one.

Some gentleman named as " HistorySheeter" had posted the said video on YouTube elaborating on the reasons for the ghastly defeat the pak army suffered in 1971 and he delved into the character of their CO , AAK NiAZI, he claimed that in the Hamoodur rehman Commision report, it has been mentioned that General Niazi , indulged all behaviours contrary as to how a " Gentleman" officer ought to behave .
In the report, it was revealed that general Niazi , when posted as some GOC Sialkot regularly indulged in partake of bribe and other " favours" in exchange of postings and other administrative matters .
So what you have postulated is not at all far fetched in slightest manner.

Nawaz Sharif's party is technically the largest party after the elections (but short of majority) as the so called PTI backed candidates are all Independents.
PTI backed Independents can never form a govt on its own because they all fought on different election symbols.
For forming govt you have to constitutionaly be a political party first.
