Biriyani & pulao have a precedent in India in the form or rice dishes cooked with meat dating back to the Mahabharata . As far as historical times go , the recipe has been recorded in the Manasollasa during the 11th century reign of the Chalukyan monarch Someshwara.Let's deconstruct
Pakistan as an political entity came into being on 14 August , 1947.
The recipies mentioned by you have an earlier recorded history.
Many of these above mentioned dishes came to this region of hindostan , hindistan, al hind , bharat , and india before anything like Pakistan existed.
Gulab jamun )
(Gulab jamun was derived from a fritter that the Central Asian Turkic peoples brought to India.[3]
The word "gulab" is derived from the Persian words gol (flower) and āb (water), referring to the rose water-scented syrup. "Jamun" or "jaman" is the Hindi/Urdu word for Syzygium jambolanum, an Indian fruit with a similar size and shape, commonly known as black plum.[4] Jamun is also defined as a fried delicacy in sugar syrup.[5])
Butter chicken )
(The curry was developed at the Moti Mahal restaurant in the Daryaganj neighbourhood of Old Delhi in the 1950s, after the Partition of India[7] by Kundan Lal Jaggi and Kundan Lal Gujral,[8] .[9][10][2] The curry was made "by chance" by mixing leftover tandoori chicken in a tomato gravy, rich in butter (makhan).[11] In 1974, a recipe was published for "Murgh makhanii (Tandoori chicken cooked in butter and tomato sauce)".)
Samosas were from central Asia , that I can confidently say, they used to put meat instead of potato etc before.
Biryani was a Mughal preparation, made specifically in their army camps , and prepared by soldiers to have a compact meal .
If samosa is imported from C Asia which it well may be , explain Singhada. You're from Jk aren't you ? Are these items popularly known there as sambosas or samosas or singhada.
