No. The Islamic concept is that their God sent messengers to every culture in the world in their own languages, but they all got it wrong and didn't deliver "the message" properly, so lo and behold, God for one final time picks Mohammad as his latest messenger, and this time, the messenger gets the message exactly right, making all the other messengers words redundant, and Mohammad the final messenger. How convenient.

The point is that it was always an expansionist religion which aimed to convert everyone else. The Arabs were deeply jealous of Persia, Byzantine, India, and the far East while being stuck in their desert hell. They wanted it all. But like any bad idea, it bit them back hard. The Central Asian Turks they converted turned out to be much better at war than they were, so within 300 years of the creation of Islam, the nomadic Turks (not to be confused with Anatolian Turks) supplanted the Arabs as the dominant Islamic force and in turn invaded, raped and pillaged the Arabs themselves repeatedly. Later the Anatolian Turks made the Ottoman empire and continued it further.

From 900 AD all the way to the late 1800s, Arabs and Persians were under Turkic rule.
There is this thing going on in academic circles in the West of course that if the 602-628 Roman-Persian War hadn't gone on for that long both the Romans and the Persians would have bitchslapped the First Islamic invasion with the loss of Egypt and maybe the Levant.
