The futur of GB navy..... Carrier with foreign planes.
That's for training the QE sailors in handling fightres on deck. Neither the RN nor RAF have experience flying F-35Bs unto aircraft carriers. So US marines fly to QE first to train QE crew so that later British F-35s can practice later with already fully trained QE crews.

The same is the logic in Japanese government request to fly US Maines F-35Bs from their 2 flat tops - to train Japsnese crews in F-35B handling on deck.

I am in favor of India buying a squadron of F-35s if it is available for sale to India.

If that switch exists even for their closest allies why would they remove it for us?
Anyways we wont get F35 unless we completely surrender our foreign policy to them
It looks like France is the only one who is sincerely working with India on Kaveri project, so the Rafale is done deal as far as 125-aircraft tender is concerned. But I was thinking, it will be good to have a dozen or so F-35s as well because it is perhaps the most modern multi-role aircraft in the market at the moment. I do agree with you though; the switch has to go.

Marines Considering Flying U.S. F-35Bs Off of Japan’s Largest Warships

Officials in Tokyo have requested Marines deploy F-35B fighters aboard Japan’s largest warships, a U.S. defense official confirmed to USNI News on Friday.

The service is now studying the feasibility of deploying short take-off vertical landing (STOVL) fighters from JS Izumo (DDH-183) and JS Kaga (DDH-184), Japan’s 24,000-ton big deck amphibious.

Anyways the plane is too costly and too risky for Americans to give to a country with Russian SAMs and A/Cs

So that Americans can shut an entire squadron with just a switch if we deviate from their interests
This is an entirely debunked myth. Do you have any evidence for this claim? Bugs and listening devices sure; but kill switches, no proof yet.

I just say the truth.
After GB carrier, they intend to train on Japan carrier.
Kiss my dear Immanuel.
Yes, the Japanese need the USMC F-35B to operate from their carrier while they wait for their aircraft to arrive. Much like IAF pilots are training on French Rafale.

Poland could receive its first four F-35As in 2024

Warsaw would have a full squadron of 16 F-35As, support equipment and spare parts available in 2026, when Lockheed expects its air force to achieve initial operational capability with the stealthy type. A full mission simulator facility will also be established in the country.

A second squadron of aircraft will be delivered by 2030, Lockheed says. Warsaw earlier this year confirmed its intention to acquire 32 F-35As as replacements for its RAC MiG-29 and Sukhoi Su-22 fleets.

While only small parts of the F-35, such as landing gear, ammunition and F135 engine components are currently being produced in Poland, Ulmer says there is room to expand Polish industrial involvement.

"We are constantly looking for supply chain and there are some opportunities for new partners with cheaper costs and better quality [of products]," he says. "Technology transfer opportunities are associated with sustainment of Polish air force F-16s, F-35s and C-130s, enhancing training of pilots and maintainers, advancement in space technologies, co-operation in research and development and advancement in UAS [unmanned air system] technologies."

1) The polish F35 are the US model. No accomodation, unlike the Indian Rafale (for a total of 1.6 billion !!!) .
2) What is the weapons package? The Rafale deal includes nearly 700 € millions of weapons.
3) is there a logistic package? Sur not because the support real cost of the F35 is yet unknown.

=> This Polish F35 cost is for dry planes. You have to add a lot of things.
