Elbit is a core tech company and a large defence contractor along with IAI and Rafael. I doubt it will be handed over to any non-US company

Keep in mind that they were starting from scratch. They had no industrial base to build upon. But they did build one and delivered the tank as per spec but was too late. Hopefully this time we have a base to build the next generation tank.

The biggest drawback of DRDO in case of Arjun was, they did bite more then what they can chew. Same has been the case with Kaveri.

But we can't blame DRDO or OFB or Army as whole in case of Arjun.

They need to bring those massive machines that makes wings like automated fibre laying, those large ass ovens which bake them and stuff like automated hole drilling and fastening. Otherwise if its just assembling like IKEA Table, its waste of time and no one learns anything . does anyone know the Tata C-295 deal, is it just about screwdrivergiri or we shall make some aerostructures from scratch ?
