Not yet. Maybe GTRE and RR should start a JV company for high capacity engine manufacturing in India.

If it’s true then it will be great, LCA Mk-2 will be inducted by 2028 when production starts in 2026.

Imo both tejas mk2 and tedbf(if successful) Will eventually get the new engine because it doesn't make sense to build a new engine and produce only around 2-300 engines for amca only

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Rolls-Royce have signed an MoU to establish packaging, installation, marketing and services support for Rolls-Royce MT30 marine engines in India.

Through this MoU, Rolls-Royce and HAL will expand their long-standing partnership in India and work together in the area of marine applications for the first time.

Yes thats what will happen i think but much depends on when the platform and the new engine goes into production

Brexit and money....keep in mind we are negotiating a ftp with them so it could be part of a larger deal for better access to indian market
