Depending on Foreign vendor is not feasible. Better invest the 3-4 billion on DRDO-GTRE-Private consortium itself, rather than giving it to Rolls Royce.

What is artificial feel force in roll and pitch control

How do I explain this...

Consider it as a feedback force generated artificially.

If you drive a car with say a drive by wire ( analogue of fly by wire in aircrafts ) , while using the steering wheel you will not encounter resistance ( no feedback ) . In a normal car you need to forcefully turn the steering wheel and it resists and as you get used to it , you get a feel as to how much you should turn the wheel to steer the car around a corner etc.

This artificial feel needs to generated on the control stick of aircrafts with FBW because the aircraft is not being perse flown directly by the pilot. The pilots needs to have a feel that the aircraft is responding to he control stick inputs.

Roll and pitch are the axis around which a aircraft turns.
