1995- Arjun was in trials.

First batch of T-90 ordered- 310
Arjun Mk1 ordered- 124

Second batch of T-90 ordered- 330
Arjun Mk1A ordered- 118

Now if you remember the highlighted part, you would know why order of Arjun was nearly half of that of T-90.
But if you want to go into details, you should read more instead of looking for para's supporting your theory.

Now when did you last heard about CCS approval and induction in the same year for a platform? It did happened because HAL has invested their internal funding for LSP production.

Now I don't think you should be upset with HAL producing them from their internal fund. Its the norm for production. You have to invest on your own and then get paid after selling it.

I got your point. You don't want to understand anything said, nor want to read facts.

Fact - Tejas Mk1 was lacking seriously in firepower. Even Late Mr Parrikar agreed on it and so instead of pushing for Mk1, he came up with an interim solution of Mk1A which was an IMPROVEMNT on Mk1. IAF wanted a more powerful Mk2. But for more faster induction, HAl, MOD and IAF has agreed upon the interim solution of Mk1A.

Thank god that Lt Mr Parrikar's thought process was not like you.

Production was done in 2021 and delivery was done in 2022. That too the platforms delivered are short legged. But you want the order to come and then production to start?

For this to happen aircraft has to roll out by 2024 and ff by 2025
Even then production by 2028 is possible

They can get into LRIP mode while testing & certification is on. It's called concurrent production.
