This should be of huge interest to many......

I was always searching for the air dropped " very large fuel air explosive ( FAE ) bomb of unidentified type " and have not found it till date and I know about the air dropped nuke which is a next generation upgrade from the one whose pic i posted sometime ago.

DRDO has published info on a smaller 500 kg FAE bomb , but I have reasons to believe there is a larger one , it's need was felt during Kargil , availablity of huge FAE bomb would have killed those pigs inside bunkers because of the tremendous overpressure effect combined with oxygen deprivation.

Conventional bombs with fragmentation warheads are not much effective because it needs pin point strikes on a single bunker and even then might fail to penetrate the bunker with the fragments not even reaching the interior. Multiple pinpoint strikes needed to incapacitate a multi bunker complex. While a single large FAE bomb will do the job in single strike.

And on another note it seems NSA and CIA has completely breached indian security at some point of time around 2004 and maybe till date.

Three NSA sites worked in tandem to breach indian military signals and comms, mainly targetting nuclear and missile programs.

1.Australia NSA facility codenamed RAINFALL

2.Thailand NSA facility codenamed INDRA

3.Thailand NSA facility codenamed LEMONWOOD

Interestingly LEMONWOOD is a Foreign Satellite (FORNSAT) collection facility.

TBRL to showcase new non-lethal plastic bullets for controlling riots

https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/p...tic-bullets-for-controlling-riots/707821.html

Another attraction at the DRDO exhibition is a Crowd Control Blazer, a vehicle mounted with equipment that uses laser beam to blind the crowd for 10 seconds or so. “The rioters can be targeted even from a distance of 1 km with the vehicle without causing any permanent harm to them. When they are blinded for the short duration, they become helpless and can even be arrested,” said the staff deployed with the vehicle. They said the vehicle was being deployed for the PM’s security. The Delhi Police have it and are using it as and when required, they said.
The exhibition also has on display Remotely Operated Breaching Devices used for breaching doors and walls of enemy’s structures. “All kinds of common urban barriers, including bunkers, a 6-inch wall etc, can be penetrated into using just about 1.5 kg of explosives. A wooden, aluminum or steel door can be breached using just 5 gm of explosive, that too through a remote control,” said a DRDO official.

Seabed array consisting of passive hydrophones, multiple arrays are interlinked via cables to form a networked grid .

Analogue to American fish hook underseas surveillance system though not as sophisticated as the American ones, but will get there someday.

Official name is P216 or something like that

Newer versions r online and active at strategic locations underseas

Old picture of old version

I had been scouring the net for some info on these seabed arrays a while ago, and I came cross a CAG report that said that these arrays were rejected by the Navy in 2012.

Are the newer ones really functional and employed?

Nirbhay Missile. Note the specs at the poster below...

This looks like an 'air launched' version - given the hooks on top to attach to a pylon!
It's lighter too...

UPDATE: My bad! It is ground launched (vertically)! Then the weight reduction is all the more impressive! Does the weight include the booster?
The definitive cruise altitude of 100m is also impressive.

First picture of Arjun Mk. 1A. The design seems interesting. The sand-colored tracks could possibly point towards rubber-composite tracks.

Arjun Mk1A is exactly the same as what used to be Mk2 all along - until Mk2 was renamed as Mk1A.
The new Mk2 will be the weight reduced version of the old Mk2 (or the current Mk1A)

The linchpin for India's cruise missile defence(CMD).

IMG_20190109_121139.png

The 2000 cubic metre volume aerostat in the pic is the Akashdeep aerostat which can carry a 300kg payload upto 1km.

The 17000 cum aerostat in the pic is the Nakshatra aerostat which can carry around 2000kg payload to upto 5km.

The final iteration of aerostats by ADRDE is the unnamed Stratospheric Airship that will operate at the altitudes of 17-22km.
It will employ high tech fabrics, aerodynamic design, propellers to modulate its position, a mooring system, a gas management system, avionics for navigation and guidance and solar arrays for power generation and storage.

This along with ground based detection systems and interceptor missiles will more or less make paki cruise missiles defunct and likewise their nuclear bluff.
