Here the fins are in folded position. They are different to the line drawing of Rudra M3 or what is being labeled as the Rudra M3.If you are talking about the fins, look at the circled part.

Sorry... I am not good at editing. I should have highlighted it in red.
That one is schematic diagram and this one is a scale model for wind tunnel test. There would always be some difference in schematics and actual design of a missile especially the one whose design is not yet freezed and still in development. Here the fins are in folded position. Both the fixed and movable fins are different.
The schematic looks more like a variant of PDV. Albeit a slimmer version. That one is schematic diagram and this one is a scale model for wind tunnel test. To tell the truth, project Rudra is so much under veil that nothing is clear about it. The model has been taken from a test paper which include many more other models. Even I was not sure about what I am looking at unless the Rudra model came up. Then again till date it was believed that Rudra is a strategic ASM, but yesterday it came to light that NGARM project missile is again termed as Rudra. So this missile could be anyone of those. The schematic looks more like a variant of PDV. Albeit a slimmer version.
And the wind tunnel model looks like an entirely different design.
Are we even sure this is Rudra M3 or we are seeing an entirely yet to be named missile.
The source from where this was taken, does it mention Rudra there?
Will it be possible for you to post all the models in that test paper? To tell the truth, project Rudra is so much under veil that nothing is clear about it. Yes, Air Marshal Raghunath Nambair had said that there was a new Ngarm called Rudra under developement.
Now Rudra M3 has a different airframe. It's so confusing.
Light Field Gun is somewhat old and too heavy for its role. Bharat Forge is offering 1000 kg guns.Any one remember if this 105 mm LFG E2 is a new version, or it existed before too?
OFB seems to have shaved almost 1000 KG.

This is all a name game as per my thinking. The Rudra M1 project was shelved long back as per what I came to know. Now it came out that there is another project by the name of Rudram1 and its NGARM project.@Chinmoy @Arihant Roy
As per AM R. Nambiar.
"We are in the development stage of the Pralay—a guided short-range (400 km) tactical ballistic missile for battlefield use developed by DRDO. Also developed for the IAF are the precision guided munitions (PGMs) Garuthmaa and Garudaa. An air launched anti tank missile has been developed called SANT (Stand off Anti Tank) which will have multi-platform launch capability and can be launched from attack helicopters. Other weapons developed are the SAAW (Smart Anti Airfield Weapon), Dhruv Astra an anti surface missile and a new generation anti radiation missile—the Rudram-1. We also have the Rudram-2 and Rudram-3 missiles which are variants of the Rudram-1 with different functions for ground attack."

You came across the picture of another missile named Dhruvastra. Can you post this picture. This is all a name game as per my thinking. The Rudra M1 project was shelved long back as per what I came to know. Now it came out that there is another project by the name of Rudram1 and its NGARM project.
Next is Dhruvastra............. The launch tube of HELINA is known as Dhruvastra and just few days back I came across the sight of another missile by same name.
DRDO is playing name game it seems.
Let me show you some pics which are available in public domain. You came across the picture of another missile named Dhruvastra. Can you post this picture.
According to Nambair Sir, there is a Ngarm project by the name of Rudram 1. And we have seen outlines of Rudram 3. There is no way that Rudram 3 is a variant of Rudram 1 when Rudram 1 is the Ngarm.
Confusion confusion confusion

IMHO, I think the journos got it wrong when they thought Dhruvastra is just a missile tube and not an ASM.This is all a name game as per my thinking. Might be...... But as I said, I would not be surprised if Dhruvastra is a modified Air launched NAG.https://www.drdo.gov.in/drdo/pub/ebooks/CTB-2015/start.html

It might just have been a missile all this time.
