Anti tank and bunkerbuster missile?Air to surface high supersonic missile ( ~ 4 mach )
Consider it India's analogue to global prompt strike weapon except for global it will be at a tactical level and possibly strategic level to take out HVTs in a time critical scenario.Anti tank and bunkerbuster missile?
You mean to say our "russian hypersonic missile that has caused uproar more in britain(jokers) than in USA", right na?Consider it India's analogue to global prompt strike weapon except for global it will be at a tactical level and possibly strategic level to take out HVTs in a time critical scenario.
Definitely not anti tank , you don't use a sword to chop potatoes do you ?
Rudra 3 is rumoured to be hypersonic. You mean to say our "russian hypersonic missile that has caused uproar more in britain(jokers) than in USA", right na?
DRDO docs mentions Rudra M2 , Rudra M2A and Rudra M3Other weapons developed are the SAAW (Smart Anti Airfield Weapon), Dhruv Astra an anti surface missile and a new generation anti radiation missile—the Rudram-1. We also have the Rudram-2 and Rudram-3 missiles which are variants of the Rudram-1 with different functions for ground attack.
Looks like work on Rudra 2&3 is going in parallel.I remembered something

DRDO docs mentions Rudra M2 , Rudra M2A and Rudra M3
Names are so similar
Therefore is the both set of missiles the same system ?
Both series of missiles are ASM that is confirmed.
Also note worthy is Rudra M3 is a 1.6 ton missile and design seems same as the Rudra pic posted above

@Chinmoy @sayareakd what do you think ?
Can't say anything. Till date I have only seen schematics of Rudra. There are many conflicting reports about their role and all. Only yesterday I got a view of one missile which is supposedly Rudra.I remembered something

105 Field Gun was there. OFB has only cut down on weight recently.Any one remember if this 105 mm LFG E2 is a new version, or it existed before too?
OFB seems to have shaved almost 1000 KG.

If you are talking about the fins, look at the circled part.Nope.
The missile which is in the wind tunnel, the one posted by Sayerakd and the missile with NeXoft007 and Indian Defense forum labels are different.
Look at the fins just above the nozzle. They are of different shapes. These fins are for aerodynamic control and therefore they are movable.
The lift generating very low aspect ratio wings / surfaces are also different. Having different shapes.
These two missiles aren't the same.
