The rate at which automated code generation tools are improving, how long do you think before this too dries up?? I give these guys 5 years, 10 max.
I guess you are talking about IT sector, then highly experienced loyal ones keep their jobs, rest depending on productivity creativity communication skills, max 15 years rest max 10 years, a major reason why they are getting high package. Brilliant ones already started for locking for options, high salary jobs only for small periods [3 to 15 years] and only few gets promotion. Biggest issue is sale of company, like twitter.

You forget In Software GIGO rules. You might have automated code generation building you a solution. But you would still require people to vett through code with fine comb.

There are already many no code tool available. Still you need to spend considerable time finding workarounds on some tasks. There already many built in Machine Algo , yet most complex problems require designing your own.

Other disruptor which is coming is quantum computing.

You are basing your argument on the assumption that these AI tools will forever remain stuck in their present form when the speed and nature of their progression and level of maturity (case in point being the night and day difference between GPT-3 and GPT-4) have shown the case to be anything but.
I'm not claiming these tools have already matured to the level necessary for them to replace human programmers just yet, but who knows what they will be like 5 years from now!! Forget five years, at this point, we can't even deign to predict what it's gonna be like in the next six months!!

Allow me to present to you the mighty (and spooky GPT-4!! It can do code generation, bug detection, automated testing, and much more!!
You can just highlight a piece of code in your script, and it will spit out a test for you in seconds!!
You are finding it impossible to figure out the function a particular line of code is playing?? Worry not!! Just highlight it and GPT-4 will promptly explain it to you by commenting it out.
It gave you a wonky code?? No biggie, just feed the error message back into the console, and it will spit out the correct one.
This thing (GPT-4, I mean) can create a fully functioning web site, complete with a search bar, widgets, and whatnot, from a simple hand-drawn design, as shown in their tech demo!! And it will continue to improve and mature. Now, just think about the implications and what it's gonna do to web developers.

I say, it's gonna get progressively worse for IT professionals in the coming years, especially for the newly minted ones. I mean, when the IBM CEO claims that they are looking to replace upwards of 40 percent of their workforce with AI in the next couple of years (and that projection is based on the assumption that the tech does not progress from current level!), then..... well, shit doesn't get any more real than that.

Yeah but for how long?? That's the question to ask here.

look Mate We humans have been fearing Humans since invention of Steam Engine. Chat GPT shall not be used everywhere and anywhere. Tell me as a car company can they rely on GPT to provide you proprietary BMS, ADAS Logic, Engine Control etc? What about banking? How about writing FCS. Or Custom ISRO Rover Flight Control S/W? Until unless you have a custom GPT-4 /AI Algo fed with your environment parameters, Training data - it wont give you optimum solution.

In the scenario you mentioned - yes run of the mill Web Development, Games and lot of freelancing work shall see a change. But even in scenario you mentioned. Someone would need to feed the problems and integrate the solutions. And mark my words Chat GOT -4 shall become paid service in coming future. Depending upon how cost effective a Chat GPT-4 vs a paid intern - shall be yet to be seen. IT is not all about just writing code - a lot goes in requirement gathering, understanding existing processes. proposing refinement and solutions associated with them. Convincing Client for the same. Then comes your actual architecture of proposed solution and then comes your coding, testing, integration testing, deployment testing - feedback - re patch your software - rinse repeat. Chat GPT - 4 could be leveraged at certain places with assistance.

But the time where an organization pops a chat GPT-4 to streamline its internal process is quite far. It may ask for its deficiencies via sentiment analysis and ask for feedback for improvement. But complete automation is far off.

Case in TCS is currently working in its own version f Chat GPT - 4 which can churn out enterprise code.

World Military Revolution. For A World Military Alliance.

It is a widely-held belief that democracy is the preeminent form of governance; however, upon closer examination, this notion is brought into question. The presidency of Donald Trump is a prime example of the potential failings of democracy. The leader of the free world, a man who denies the existence of climate change, is emblematic of the shortcomings of modern democracy. The present system allows for the possibility that an individual even worse than Hitler could rise to the highest office of the world's superpowers, holding within their grasp the ability to launch nuclear weapons and other instruments of mass destruction. In this day and age, it is too risky to entrust one person with such immense power. The inherent dangers of democracy are further exemplified by the fact that citizens who lack formal education or expertise in political matters are given the right to vote for the president and members of Congress who make uneducated decisions that affect all of humanity and the future of the world. Additionally, these elected officials may base their decisions on the interests of lobbyists, thereby serving the interests of corporations rather than the public good. The formulation of laws and policies that affect our society, economy, and future must be informed by scientific research that has been rigorously verified by the global scientific community. This knowledge is not possessed by the average citizen or member of Congress who may lack the requisite education and training. Instead, the responsibility of shaping our laws and policies should fall to the millions of scientists and academic scholars worldwide. Given that there are over 220 million students currently attending universities and over 550 million individuals possessing higher education degrees, it is time to grant political power to these individuals who possess the knowledge and expertise to make informed decisions. In this new system of governance, 220 million of academic scholars and Ph.D. holders in universities would work collaboratively to shape our laws and policies as part of the universities' research programs, without any taxpayer cost. For example, the Department of the Economy would be staffed by millions of economists, while the Department of Justice would be composed of millions of legal scholars, and so forth. In contrast to the current system, where the average economy minister lacks a degree in economics, a system based on scientific knowledge and expertise would reduce the potential for corruption by corporations. The current governmental hierarchies are fraught with security risks as a few individuals hold immense power, making them susceptible to corruption. However, if we erased all hierarchies and empowered millions of scientific researchers to shape our politics, with security systems such as high paying whistleblower systems, and AI corruption detections, it would be near impossible for corporations to corrupt them. It is incumbent upon all governments, militaries, and universities worldwide to unite and reform the old governmental system that concentrates power in the hands of a few individuals. In its place, we must establish a new form of governance where political power is distributed to the world's leading academic scholars and Ph.D. holders from all scientific research institutes and universities. Our political directives must be based on scientific research verified by the global scientific community and solely serve the prosperity and sustainability of humanity and the future of our world. The Constitution, while a revolutionary document in its time, is not perfect, and it is our responsibility to improve it. We must provide the world's academic scholars with the political power necessary to enact these changes. To achieve this goal, we must form a global political alliance with the mission of reforming the world's insecure form of governance and granting the world's scientific community the highest political power.

Well it's not stealthy that's for sure with canards and those engine placement maybe it's an early design
And judging from the picture maybe it's not even unmanned...look closely

The Alpha Defence model looks DRDOish by look of it and colour scheme.

But that GodOfParadox one looks like some DefenceAnalyst modeled it from the leaked picture. DRDO or HAL is yet to become so aesthetics ka 14 that they'll use a dark model on black background.

That's true if it's manned/unmanned what do you think it could be a bomber?
