Every time DRDO's chief tenure comes to an end his lies increases several folds Christopher is also going under VK sarasvat syndrome, throwing everything in sky from empty pipe to large Howitzer but nothing seems to working for him. Yesterday it was copy book test but today it's turned out to be a failure then it is being said that it was a test of rocket booster only! and tomorrow we will come to know it failed too.

For uneducated audience who prefer rumors over reading, it can be true. Even today the publication says the success of The nozzle less booster, which was claimed even the earlier.

It seems, we work excellent on paper only! These kinda stuff keep on coming since dacades but nothing came out so far. Just the sake of name, one can say Akash, Tejas, Agni etc. but being a huge country with huge resources these few products meant for nothing.
Decades?
Where did you get that from?

GaN research has only in the recent years started picking up steam and I think as per the standing committee on defence GaN MMICs are being pursued from this year only.

GaN isn't something that can be used in military hardware as soon as you are able to make it for first time. This applies to other technologies as well. It takes time to make the tech more durable, have to go through several trial and error tests, optimize it and only then implement it.

According to Mr Pubby, the test of SFDR was only partially successful. The booster stage performed without a hitch whereas the second stage failed to activate.

That is the ducted ramjet didn't even start operation.

https://m.economictimes.com/news/de...ccess-in-ramjet-test/articleshow/64423073.cms

Mr Manu Pubby is the official bearer of bad news it seems. How come he only gets to know that the missiles haven't performed as planned? And what about the credibility of the Govt report that the missile performed flawlessly??

Then there are multiple flaws in this article.

First, Meteor doesn't have a range of 300km.its somewhere north of 150-160 kms.

Secondly, Manu Pubby has improperly identified the nozzle less booster. He had said the booster failed to detach from the missile. Yet again he says that the nozzle less booster has performed meticulously. He doesn't know that the nozzle less booster that has been mentioned in the press release is inside the missile itself. It accelerates the missile to a sufficient speed before the ram jet engages. Unless the ground launch booster detaches from the missile after the launch there is no way in hell that the nozzle less booster will activate.

But the govt press release said the technology of nozzle less booster has been successfully tested. So either Drdo is lying OR Mr Pubby has no idea as to what he is saying
Pubby is a leftie dog, agenda is to stir controversy and see if looses any cannon fires. If it cant find loose cannon atleast it will demoralise poupulation

DRDO chief Christopher had said that low voltage GaN has been completed. So, I think India is not yet fully ready but in path of progress. Also, none in the world has a GaN radar fully functional yet. Most appear to be in trial phase or ones that are not significantly better than GaAs ones

Not correct! The ET article is misleading. DRDO claimed only successful validation of nozzle-less booster tech, which is not a trivial achievement. The tech reduces smoke (visual signature) and facilitates efficient ramjet combustion.

1. Indigenous Sarvadhari COMINT will be integrated on IL-38 soon.

2. Preparations for AD-1 ABM test have started with first test hopefully at the end of the year.

3. Supersonic penetrating warhead of Rudra M-II with penetration of more than 2m thickness of RCC. First test soon.View attachment 25550
Can you give some more info on AD-1?
When will PDV enter service?
AAD will be operational soon I believe.

Will the DRDO or any GOI lab will ever have such indigenous capabilities?
The best SCL can do for now is 180 nm, that too from borrowed technology.
https://www.theverge.com/2018/6/6/17433102/amd-7nm-radeon-vega-gpu-computex-2018
180nm is the right technology for defence items. The lower nm chips are mainly for power efficiency and faster computation with limited power. However, they are not capable of handling temperature fluctuations and crash at times. 180nm is more robust and can last decades and survive fluctuations in current, temperature.

SCL is a part if ISRO and is strategic in nature. It is mainly for security related applications like defence, space, nuclear etc. The computers of these equipment must never crash/fail. Higher power consumption is not an issue. The technology is not borrowed but within India itself and India is capable of building another fabrication unit of 180nm without foreign assistance.

Also, I have serious reservations about 7nm technology. 7nm is too small and is at the edge of instability. intel was not able to do the 10nm technology itself despite years of eforts.
