Where are they getting the money to pay for these? Their ass is broke as hell.
They are increasing their spending to over 5% of GDP (additional 13 billion USD per year, that will go for acquisition). That's what countries serious about defense do, when they have a powerful and bigger adversary on their border.

Plus there might be some US support as well, since there has been discussions in US strategic circles that Poles are the most willing to fight Russia (In peacetime also over 90% of them hate Russia), make them militarily strong to secure eastern europe, since Germany and France have been pretty disinterested .

All of these are wishes and seeing the economy of Poland I doubt if even half of it come through, and I don't think economy will be booming there after this Ukraine conflict. Moreover it would have been half or 3/4 believable if they were going to induct cheap platforms but they straight wanna go for capital intensive platforms like Abrams, HIMARS, K2 apparently the costliest mbt and they want them in 500 numbers+.
How are they even going to sustain the capex. Not even that countries will surely want to make money and most of the spares will have to be imported. This also puts their indigenious defence industry effectively in a pit.
The most interesting is that after showing so many new concepts of mbts over years they are going for a foreign example of K2 and Abrams.
The biggest problems with imported HIMARS will be the sustainment of rocket ammo.
And who wanna bet me on 500 HIMARS launchers, i have only this to say

Russian India MTA that was supposed to enter production and replace India's aging Russian fleet by 2015-20.

It has been 8 years with no real progress in this particular front. Seems like the preliminary designs were already completed.IMO we were the development/production partners so we must have access to those designs.

We should have worked on our own MTA rather than reinventing the wheel with Saras Mk2.

It was a sexy jet but I don't think we had any of the IP not with congress at the helm.

Tho the need of a local transport workhorse is a top priority. We gave a handful c 130 and they do wonders for us, an indigenous alternative will serve us well.

Why the hell would we even sell weapons of any kind to Poland, perhaps comms systems or body armours. I don't think it would be very wise of us to fund Poland against Russia.
Wo Pagal hogaye hain sir , I read their modernisation in some detail .
1000 k2 black panther tanks , 300 abrams tanks and 96 apache 64e matalb humara wala version .
All this will come only by 2027 .Still if this plan materialises , I won't ve surprised if they can hold a Russian attack on their own

We should absolutely sell stuff to them if the ruskies can sell to pakis, chinese we can do the same
We are not in a position of power in the relationship, forgot about nuclear sub cooperation? This level of cooperation has not been done by any other country.
So yeah I don't want India to slash its own branch while sitting on a tree.
And Poland notta gonna buy from India anyway, they have their NATO and EU partners to rely on.

sell what exactly thoughh? Peanuts? We don't even induct our stuff in numbers with sabudana grain budget relative to economy or threat profile and a population thats cucked for centuries that they are still in slumber and dream of IT coolie jobs....so what idiotic pakis or "over smart" chinese or mafia west does is irrelevant to us.....

We got the money that ruskies need name other countries than india that can afford to pay 3bln just to lease a sub that doesn't already have the tech.
Also do keep in mind ruskies are still very much eager to sell stuff to turks.. who shot down russian jets few years back but also heavily supports ukr let alone poland.
We have the money and the political power to buy from them most other countries wont even buy russian stuff in the next few years because of the sanctions.
So if the opportunity arises we should definitely sell..

Poland preparing for WW3 😱

We can sell something to them

Some of these systems likes Himars and Apache have only been announced . It's highly doubtful that they will buy so many systems .

Their economy will take some heavy beating in the winter months. Let's see, from where they get the cash.

And some of these systems like the Abrams will replace their earlier stocks of T-72 which they will either be phasing out or transfer to Ukraine.

Either way, they are beefing up but what needs to be seen is whether they can back up these purchases with adequate cash.

The series of sanctions on Russia has backfired and it will only lead to recession in the EU. Poland will not escape unscathed.

Another economy to watch out for is Turkey.
