I dont think forces have much option in choosing their weapon of choice unless they are of any special unit like NSG, Greyhounds or any elite police unit. For normal units whats MHA says that will only go.
The elite police units which all got Tar had returned them in favor of more Bulgarian ones.
One of the commando in Grey hound very recently told me that some of the Tars with folding butts were issued to them for evaluation purpose, they returned them because when firing in full auto the folding stocks loses the locking and gets swinging. I had heard the same complaint from much older underfolding romanian Aks but newer weapons showing this is not Okay.

Destruction of BrahMos is just mind-boggling everytime I see it. Hits at sea-level, punches straight through like a bullet, that too with an inert warhead.

Can it punch a hole into an aircraft carrier and do some serious damage that the ship will be considered as a soft kill at the very least?

Definitely! 3ton missile crashing into something in m3 is no joke and the warhead will make it even more lethal

You have to modify the missile for A2A role for that. Flight parameters and characteristic of A2G and A2A missiles are different from each other.

Even though bharmos is very dangerous but only 16 or 8 won't suffice in war acting like a capital ship
Even though Chinese counterpart could be bit less in capability wrt bhramos even could be better but their nos is a surely put us in disadvantage

Most ships dont carry more than 16 asm...we need more ships and subs to counter china not more asm per ship

chinks dont have anything near the capability of mrsam.

and the chinki version have range of 280km .
