ISRO multi object tracking radar MOTR

the military version of this radar is being installed in india's first missile range instrumentation ship MRIS

please note the encircled sentence - it gives away the one of the application of the military version of this radar ie to compute and track the instantaneous impact points of multiple MIRVs

this confirms what i had alluded to previously in another thread.

this is the land based trailer mounted version of M-MOTR

the sea based version is waiting installation on a smaller drdo MRIS under construction

the land based trailer mounted version of M-MOTR will be used for tracking PGMs, smart munitions and terminal characteristics/flight performance of warheads under development during land based test fires.

IMO this mobile system has the potential to be used as part of BMD for tracking cruise missiles , ballistic missiles if stationed at high elevation like on top of mountains/hills .

According to Prasun K Sengupta it is a version of Nag ATGM with 12km range.

Where did you get it? Any link?

sir from which angle it looks like brahmos

dimensions can be deceiving in a picture , actually its size is just right for a long range ATGM, compare it with the LGB tail unit next to it to get a understanding of its size.

importantly note the 4 lateral thrusters located mid body . only ATGMs have this configurations
even NAG has the same configuration ie 4 lateral thrusters mid body.

MI35 has space for onboard test equipments and personnels to monitor test article during flight testing
