India successfully test fires cluster munitions version of Pinaka rocket. Each rocket has 234 bomblets and will be used for area suppression strikes against enemy troop/vehicle concentrations.

All versions of Pinaka (Mk1, Mk2 and guided Pinaka) can be equipped with this warhead.

Chinese are way ahead of us in rocket artillery. They have every kind of rocket artillery with all kind of warhead you can think of. They even have 300/400 km range MLRS. And about the pakis, well what china have they can have it too

A 300 mm rocket cant have a 300 km range. Chinese are just bluffing.. They could however fire ballistic missiles from MLRS launcher like ATACM

Noob mistake you made sir. Just see that airframe is completely different. Israelis themselves classify Barak MX as different from Barak 8. Maybe same seeker and propulsion.

Of course, they are different. Barak 8 is an Interceptor; Barak MX is a multi-layered AD system.

IAI changed the airframe a bit for MX, like we adopted the Barak 8 derived airframe for Akash NG.
