No. I am a propulsion guy. I have worked on some GTRE and SWIFT related projects, some supersonic mixing, combustion and things related to that
@BrigadierRPS and any other folks here working in critical projects, I am not sure if your claim is correct or not, but refrain from divulging information about what you have worked upon, or what institute/organization you are related to.

I know it feels awesome to brag or have first-hand information, but you will be prime targets for hackers and spy agencies.

Don't take this lightly.

Previously our ISRO scientists have been assassinated by foreign intelligence agencies.

Please don't talk about something you don't know. Firstly, the summit was on some predefined topics and groups were formed subsequently. Aerospace propulsion was a such topic hence these things came up. ASAT was not a topic there. Educational institutions are involved in some very crucial projects. You are talking about dual use technology, the pre-cooled engine is dual use tech as well. Anything that involves ISRO has to be either dual use or civilian, so by your logic there should not be any difficulty from their side to take IITs onboard. IIT Kanpur is directly involved into Ghatak program, I can show you research undertaken related to it. It is not something that the professor and his research unit does something but doesn't know it's use. No development is truly secret. People openly talk about the RAM of AMCA and it's absorption capabilities (which should be a very secret technology and nobody should ideally talk about). You might not know that a supersonic dogfight capable UCAV is being designed to operate along with AMCA, but we know it. Because there are some walls between the civilian sphere and the technology sphere (where every unit interacts with the other one).
Now see where the problem lies. People like you just jump in and start giving knowledge.
I asked you that whether you atttended or came across any seminar which discussed about ASAT before it been tested?
Now you too don't talk about something you don't know. I am talking about government perspective. Govt would not allow anyone to hold a seminar on something which they don't want to divulge for obvious reasons. ISRO, DRDO, IIT, IISc or be it anyone. If they are told not to talk about it, you are not going to hear about it no matter how many seminar you attend.

Well, the one I was talking about is not truly tailless. Erkanoplan doesn't hold any advantage for us to be frank. Although there are some research projects on ground effects for different configurations have been conducted earlier.
for ground effect to work in best way we would need stupidly big erkanoplane, which will hurt agility.
I had seen this vid around 6months back, it gave me nice insight.

Dude, if the question is all about government's intent, It is clear that they don't have any intention of following that up. We had a sleepy PMO fellow there as well. And if you are talking about any seminar where ASAT was talked, then yes I can recall one. DRDO once delivered a talk during the inauguration of JCBCAT and there they talked about ASAT. That was in 2017. They even talked about AD1 and AD2, in response to a question like this, "Is there anything like a THAAD equivalent under development in India?", Although they diverted from the topic and didn't gave a pinpoint answer.
Now see where the problem lies. People like you just jump in and start giving knowledge.

Its so sad that we don't have avatar type plane under Development even though it was the dream of Dr kalam or may be DRDO is waiting for scramjet engine to get mature.

Maybe they will when someone else sheds the light. Indian establishments are not known for risktaking. They will rather go with a proven design. I think if the SABRE program becomes successful, they might think of something like that. But it it always better to start early, people have experimented with precooled engines in earlier days, it is not like something out of the blue. Atleast we can do se experiments now, especially when they feasibility study reports and simulations are available to you.

If you are feeling like you need companionship just let me know I will send you escorts ✌
I always maintained that there's no stamp for nationalism but my god you are a goddamn Nationalist! Respect! That's the most nationalist line i have ever witnessed.

Most probably AMCA
Context of pic was classified project
Amca doesn't seems to be one.
Ghatak is not talked openly by officials as much as amca is.
Low observability of AMCA<Ghatak in this case :>
Imo.
You might've seen ADA project director openly talking about amca while the same never with ghatak
We can say that this part(digital unit) is tending towards ucav(that doesnt say it is of ucav nor it denies)

Ghatak will demonstrate the success of some futuristic technologies as well like fluidic thrust vectoring, active boundary layer separation control etc. Regarding the pic of the flight control computer, ghatak will have less number of control surfaces but more control points due to the active boundary layer control. The flight control computer of ghatak will be more powerful than AMCA imo.

Fair enough you got valid point,
The ghatak prototype is under manufacturing phase it might come by 2023-2024 since timeline was 24months aka 2year do you think the prototype will have conformal stuff or still it will be open like that in swift.

Are you sure bcz afaik AMCA was supposed to have FBL with distributed FCC.
