Looks pretty cool and heard that they were very effective in the Armenia vs Azerbaijan war. They come with the provision of producing an howling screaming noise when they are in the terminal stage of descent thereby creating an psychological effect on the victims. This is as per news reports from that war zone. Think it is true. Unfortunately the Turks have developed something similar to this and could be supplying the same to the Porks.

India should reverse engineer the technology and make indigenous alternatives. It would cost us less and should be mass produced. The technology does not seem to be beyond our reach. Its not some Star Wars technology.

Could be used against both Pakistan and China.

But hope somebody doesn't come up with a cheap and effective way of neutralising such kamikaze drones. Wouldn't be too easy. Because the Israeli ones are low RCS semi stealth drones. Most radars might not even be able to pick them up.

DTTI started in 2012, it was projected as co development but in reality muricans basically wanted to sell insignificant tech which murican companies already had IP for. So this program has largely been a failure.

it will likely fail again because intellectual property is at the core of this initiative, and no sensible company wants to share their IP with a foreign company without a good price.

Its coming under emergency purchase. So no RFP/RFI.
