again I wonder what is really going on here? Is 307 in addition to the 150 LSP cleared by DAC previously? Does this new figure supersede the earlier one basically starting from scratch again as far as quotes are concerned? Just more games for the services and babus to play whilst the situation on the ground remains totally unchanged.

Remember the 400 units of ATHOS under emergency procurement. Most probably it's shut down for good and seeing no option to import, army decided to finally address the requirment by increasing the order quantity from 150 to 307.
Because no way it's some follow on order when the initial order is not assigned.

That’s so sad. They need to cut down the useless red tape to facilitate the speedy induction of an proved Indian system.
