L&T/DRDO one based on bmp/abhay is probably a bmp2 upgrade offered by them. The one inside the hall is the ficv offering from L&T IMHO. IiRC both the programs (bmp2 upgrade + ficv) are ongoing and rfp were invited for both.

That's pretty awesome instead. If it has adequate dynamic protection and crew safety, necessary mobility, needed firepower, integrated sensors, secured network and enhanced situational awareness - it's doing its job.
