lamO, why just from beidou 1St Gen.?
search youtube, you will find how it used by PLA.
Please learn something about navigation systems before you spout your ignorance all over DFI. It takes more than three obsolete nav sats to calculate any usable coordinates. It takes 18 to cover the territory of Russia with a 25m military channel accuracy and those are 2.5 gen.

I don't know anyone with a beidou receiver nor is it available. In fact B1 is not even capable of guiding precision munitions as it requires user emissions :twitch: It was such an unusable system the company decided to make NAVSTAR products instead. B2 is still in development... we will just see what comes of it, but it certainly isn't guiding these supposed smart munitions which started testing years ago.

Then avoid reality, Beidou 1 is an EMISSION based locater. If you can't figure out why that is impossible to guide smart munitions then there is no point for you to post.

Didn't start launching B2 sats until last year so how can these new smart munitions already in service have B2 guidance kits for a constellation that is only 15% complete?

Every satellite launched until 2012 will be out of operation by 2020 so there is no point in counting that far. There will be even fewer once we take into account "Made in China."

Simple, the data bus only has an expected lifespan "up to 8 years." Every satellite launched by 2012 will be out or going out of operation in 2020.

GPS took USA more than one decade to complete..so according to you logic, GPS would never be finished, simply that the older satellites would never be replaced with new ones.
