Besides, the night ops on the Shandong with deck full of fighters look very cool!

According to these experts why is India with a much smaller economy operating these same kind of STOBAR propaganda showpieces?

A very famous unit in the PLANAF, the 4th Air Brigade had been transferred to PLAAF. It includes J-10Hs and SU-MK2s:

More signs that the PLA Navy is gearing up for a huge carrier force. It must replace a huge land-based air arm in the PLANAF!

For comparison, the People Liberation Army Navy Air Force's land-based numbers are about the same size as the Japanese Air Force with over 700 aircraft!

Chinese military is all copied and reverse engineered technology. It has no military experience. The last military battle they fought was in 1979 in Vietnam and lost it badly, although they claimed success.

They have no naval experience, none whatsoever. If they send their ships on a naval expedition either in China Sea/Pacific or Indian Ocean, then results will be a disaster for them. It is here that the numbers do not matter. It is the tactics and quality of the guns/missile which matter. Worst for them is that, the farther they are from their home base, the greater is the danger to be completely mauled by more experienced adversaries. I hope the Chinese generals and admirals know that, although this point has been missed by their political leaders.
