India's over all tax collection jumped by 17% in the year 2023.

The reason Number of tax payers have fallen is because, Government has increased the Tax slabs to help the common people. Yet over all tax collection has increased.

People upto 7 lakh income get full refund of their tax as against 5 lakh previously.

The math is simple. If there are less people to buy homes, then there will be less demand for homes. If there is less demand for homes, the prices go down because of oversupply. Only fix is encouraging migration or having more babies.

60-70% of Chinese GDP growth is tied to real estate. If there is no growth in real estate, there is no growth in Chinese economy. Exports are down and consumption is flat.
