Tesla opened a plant in China in the midst of pandemic. So it spent billions to open a plant in China just to lie about its sales? Wouldn't companies go bankrupt spending billions on running and expanding China's plants just turn around and lie about sales?

Of course not, companies can survive only by making sales not pretending to make sales:

Corruption is running deeper in Chinese culture.. thanks to CCP for bringing atheism which has brought dog eats dog mentality (pun intended).

Story of Unisoc .. appeared in low end devices.. and vanished within months.

Cool, China's chip industry should be dead and gone in the next few weeks with the latest ban coming into play. We'll track this here :D

I can't imagine europeans being competitive with car manufacturing.
It'll be just China, US and Japan being the leaders in auto sector in that order with India being the 4th contender.
yes ,India has chance, during gasoline based time,IPs, brands they are dominant. both China and India have little。chance to catch。on engine and gearbox tech.

But in ev time the game rule is changing.

The only question is whether India is fast enough,ur local purchase power is still weak how the local demand makes ur tata and Mahindra go from 0 to 1 is still doubtful.

Anyway, the ev time is the golden opportunity!

Give it 3-4 years more and you'll see good domestic products.
India auto companies have had no option to be seriously invest in R&D for EVs and thus like you said India and China will be able to compete with Germany for eg. Volkswagen and they won't have benefit of having the best engines and transmission anymore.

Company lie about things like emissions to make more money.

If they are lying about China then they are making money there. Probably making more money than they are reporting otherwise they would just leave the market ;)
Sure except all that money is lost as massive penalties are imposed. In China, all of that goes in an illegal way to the CCP, who uses to buy rankings, media, steal IP, overfish, belt and road garbage, catching up to 1960s space tech etc around the world. The point is is the data transparent in China and even a 2 year old knows about it. Are you 1 year old? In another year, you will realize too. Don’t worry.

Elon Musk is playing with fire and he will learn the hard way. He was already threatened once by the CCP. The US will shut him down soon enough as the people’s patience wears thin. He is literally handing over US government funded technology to the CCP for his personal greed. Tesla is surviving solely because the battery imports are from South Korea. Nothing to do with Chinese technology, where 7 EV vehicles a day go up in fire. Germany is another country where greed is driving them to sell their souls and go work for Chinese companies that fund genocide in China and elsewhere. Germans have totally lost it and have become business whores. Sad state of affairs.

Cushman & Wakefield ranks India as the second most attractive global manufacturing destination. I say China is looking at some serious competition here.

Congrats ;)

Chinese are going to be real trouble in the US as these videos are resurfacing. Your companies are resorting to practices that is going to make Americans very angry as it is now directly affecting their lives and investments. Expect Chinese companies to be sued in the US for billions. Terrible business practices. This is from 2010 but it goes to show how Chinese products can be really dangerous. Chinese companies don’t have any ethics and don’t give a damn about humans much like their CCP overlords.

You're right.

The Americans were furious and launched punitive measures against China. So we see that in the January-July period of 2022, China exported $347.486 billion to the US, up 15.0%.

Americans are very bad people. They know that increasing orders for Chinese products will force Chinese workers to work overtime and damage their health, and Chinese factories will use more electricity and cause air quality to drop.

We have already conclusively proven that 70% of your export volume is at junk margin levels. For example, in your electronics exports 80% of it is at low value add levels(printed circuit boards, capacitors, relays etc). And due to US sanctions, that 20% high value add is also shrinking. Thy hit you where it 100% hurts.. Why would the US be bothered by a bunch of slaves exporting cheap , low value add stuff? The US imports far more high value add stuff like software, pharmaceuticals , defense products from India and sends scores of Americans to India for medical treatment. It is not the volume of trade that matters but the character of trade. If you think Americans like the Chinese because you exported more pencils and cheap toys, then the CCP bots are even more foolish than I thought. India will also be encouraging these low value added exports but Indians know that it is resource intensive, and not much money can be made from them.

This simply is the character of China's global trade. If it were just junk, the US would not be so desperate to ban everything ;)

Not disappearing fast enough for a lot of people I think ;)

China remains one of the brand’s most important markets. Mercedes sold 206,800 vehicles in the country in the July to September period, easily outselling Europe where 152,700 vehicles were delivered and North America where 83,200 units were sold. Indeed, deliveries in China were almost three times the 72,400 vehicles sold in the United States during Q3.
