This conflict will be a good case study for the world militaries. Few learnings from it already -
- Tanks are pretty much obsolete in presence of modern ATGMs. More so in urban warfare and mountainous terrains where infantry can sneak up close to launch ATGMs. Even if ATGM is not able to kill the tank, in most cases it will disable it and fry up its sensors and external equipment.
- UCAVs are becoming a cheap and effective way of taking out ADs, enemy defences and harassing ground forces in general. But with effective & layered ADs will neutralize its effectiveness. However, in presence of an air force, it will be pretty ineffective.
