Are u sure that gan ll be used ... So far not even F22 uses that . Only Grippen recently made a test flight . GaN is expected to have larger output power compared to GaAs . Theoretically 10-50 times . We shd nt even be discussing number of trm if thats true .

GaN is planned to be cleared for IOC by 2027-28 and has been decided for AMCA. F-22 is old machine. Might be upgraded with GaN once that is operational. Didn't get what u meant by output power for radar.

Gan uses less power as much i have read , and on same power consumption provide almost double the range

That one up there is 3B-O6, not the diamond winged one (3B-07) that came after they drastically altered its design.. Didn't work & the setup went right back.

1. That was super crude. See the image again, there's written what refinement have been done in each version.

2. None. It's the 11-12th iteration by my count (don't know the official designation).

Radar is uttam based not new one , to reduce hassle in development , mean experience from it is taken but not uttam , raises eyebrows

Integration with EW suite is very high , means something similar to su 57 , where elements of radar is used for ew warfare too
