Unless we privatize HAL. Our AMCA would remain on drawing board even when KFx retires.

It is not the job of HAL to design and develop an aircraft , it is the job of ADA (DRDO) .

most of the components of AMCA would be manufacturered by private companies just like Tejas .... HAL is just assembling them .

Let TATA produce a FICV prototype ready for trials 1st... they've been showing drawings for 10 years. Don't derail this thread.

Jet building is another different legue than metallurgy based tech like arty-guns & armoured vehicles.

Is TATA ready to buy and pay the worth of both HAL and ADA ?🤔 are they ready to invest billions of dollars on research ?

Should we also privatise Indian government and all the ministries ? And make Tata India's prime minister ? That will make us super powa 😆

Privatisation is not the solution ....very good engineers , workers and officers join such organizations after passing difficult selection process .
But the Organisation culture could be better .

Just look at the example of Delhi metro ..just because of Organisation culture it works much efficiently than Indian railways despite the fact that both of them are government organizations .



And who is stopping TATA's ( and other private players ) to develop their own fighter jets and sell it to Indian air Force ? Just like they have develop
So many vehicles ?

Don't compare India's condition to developed technologically advanced rich countries like South Korea .
Why Indian private companies like L and T are producing license built K9 thunder ? If they are so good why they didn't develop their own ?
Why TATA's cars have poor reputation than that of Korean cars ?
Why Indian private companies could not challenge Koreans in electronics and consumer items ( mobile , TV , refrigerator , washing machines ) ?

What made you think that TATAs can magically make a world class 5th generation fighter jets before Koreans ?

Is the Organisation designing KFX is private ?🤔

What is special in the cockpit of AMCA and how is it different from cockpit of MWF ? ( Except for the programing part )🤔




Wait for the first picture of Real AMCA cockpit , there maybe much difference in look but certainly have advanced features than MWF , I read somewhere that it will have a AI co pilot. And will gave suggestions to pilot According to the situation

AI is something that India really needs to concentrate on. We can be a world leader there. There is a policy but action is needed to expedite research and use in products. The Chinese have stolen a march over most of the world in AI but if we get going we can surpass them cause of our software skills. The trick is not to delay and be lethargic, a typical Indian trait.

The decisions was itself was made in back 2014 to use modular manufacturing and assembly approach and hals job is just limited to be a assembler with some other major components as current aircraft manufacturing has become much and much complex it has already been applied to the LCA in limited approach and has able to increase the production capability of the LCA by almost to 20 to the 24 aircraft per year

I see F18 style auto recovery mode, if pilot is fatigued.

The beauty of AI giving us the firing solutions is impeccable. Imagine a PAK F16 firing an AAMRAMM or there newer upcoming version, and automatically AI would resolve best AoA for decreasing D1max of the incoming missile. It will also control the speed of the aircraft accordingly so that it bleeds less energy.

Game changer.

Alright, you have schooled me. But you know what my intentions were. Sarkari work culture is too lerthargic and they always delay projects.

Just look at the latest cockpit of MWF ( video posted above ) , it is different from earlier models and now they are using single big display like F-35 ...that means they are designing MWF with Artificial intelligence , sensor fusion ...you only need good processing power and good programmers which we have .

India may be behind in other areas but we can develop easily AI and sensor fusion on both MWF and AMCA .
