very good mod of T-55 clon.
Ammo rack, ammunition semi-auto loader, gun mount is Ukr designed.
Armor - it is a strange cost save on crew lives, as it is less then just T-55M

If you seen hits from apfsds you may notice them diferently by fins. If you don't see I provide examples.

NONE, just so called "screan" armor, protects only against old RPG-7 FRONTALLY.
Don't show me the esxibitions examples, I talk about army tanks.

he said italian made thermal imagers

beside this those project might be of students but they are funded by Govt aka the HEC.

they have projects of even designing nuclear reactors(google pinstech),radars,infact they are also responsible and had made the FCS of pakistani artillary systems under a JV with GIDS

Beside this pak does manufacture Thermal imagers for t series tanks.

Its actually a 2nd generation Italian thermal imager which is also integrated on C-1 Ariete MBT of Italian Army

now yes in future may be yes or even No but i guess they have stopped investing in this field anymore

While Pakistan has a long long vision of investing in these field

we are at war anytime and this will force us to invest more and more into this for a unknown though longer period

Space tech are 60-years before period in USSR (Ukraine).
And may I, to somebody forget, that "pride" of nation may make somebody blind to facts.

All I can say - without modern defence like "Duplet" Pakistan tanks like T-80UD and AL Khalid a very velnurable. You disagree?

its not a matter of pride, just that industry in pakistan has grown manyfolds compared to what it was 20 years ago. So they trust their products particularly military grade products. Aorak may not be on par with Duplet YET but it will reach there at some stage
