Akash NG has an optical RF seeker compared to standard RF seeker on the MRSAM, so I would go so far as to say Akash NG seeker is more advanced and jam proof compared to MRSAM.

I misunderstood the info some day ago about a mobile launcher for 40 km missile , launcher configuration was similar to akash ng one

But qrsam is more mobile
At the same time akash can destroy a fighter at higher altitudes which qrsam can't
Also vlsraam is coming

Aakash ng is developed to defeat low RCS object s .
And will be used by airforce
And the project is funded by iaf
The problem with old airdefence sams is that they are unable to defeat low RCS objects
It might be a drone or a stealth fighter

Mobility won't be an issue with Akash ng .. as it's evident from the launcher cum multi functional radar vehicle .. it would be more mobile than qrsam..

Tho i don't know what akash ng would replicate .. qrsam or mrsam? Is it meant to be an area deniqp system or a point/terminal defence system?

Aakash ng launcher has radar inbuilt but carries fewer missile ,so is their a possibility that the launcher might be a different platform too ,and this is just for quick reaction mated with radar for early interception
