Major fire broke out at venue. Dozens of vehicles caught up in grass fire gone out of control. Seems to be in hand now but a lot of property damage.

Given the number of incidents of fire at major public events recently...I feel some thorough investigation is required

Yes the grass doesn't seem to be that tall to me and spacing is also adequate and how did nobody not notice the first few cars burning and how the hell the fire jumps so fast as to be at the two distant ends

Also, only the front ends of the cars are burning......none on the rear side......in both rows of the cars.
If the fire was due to grass then you'd think that it would burn all around the cars

Also, you can see that the tops of 'bonnets' are burning. It appears like someone squirted some flammable liquid on the bonnets all along the row and then lit them on fire..

I'll the forensics do their job now....

Thankfully no one has been reported to be injured!!!

So as suggested by earlier pics, its not a powered weapon, but glide.

BTW one SDB weighs 110 kg. Now do the calculation of how many a MKI could carry :)
INDIA WAS DEVELOPING MUTLI TARGET MISSILE? DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE UPDATE OF SAME?

When Antony was DM, they were asked to take a call in whose collaboration the engine is to be made. More than 5 years have passed but it has not moved an inch from there. These stupids need to be sacked. You can not make it than ok but you have multiple offers to co develop the engine and for years, you are unable to decide whom to choose a partner. This is simply pathetic and needs some stringent action from MOD. Take all decision making away from them. Just let them research. Put a very good manager as a CEO probably an airforce officer or give kaveri design to any private party with the specification to develop engine in 5 years of time. hire some retired Russian engineers in the area or take consultancy of retired engineers and scientists who knows this technology.
It was the Antony who sabotaged Kaveri. When GTRE chief was complaining continuously, he was arrested for "misusing official vehicle" and shifted out. Kaveri will now become 110kN new engine project. Kaveri was K9 while this will be K10 engine and have a different name.

LUH has almost 500 meter extra servidce ceiling at 6.5k meters than Dhruv which means it can operate in extreme heights of Siachen when Dhruv cannot operate there. Right now only Chetak and Cheetah i.e. HAL manufactured Alouette III variants can only operate at that height. Since Eurocopter Fennec deal was cancelled on graft allegations, LUH has become the sole modern helicopter able to operate at that altitude.
Siachen is 20000feet this is within 6km altitude. So, all Indian helicopters can work there. The 6.5km altitude of LUH doesn't mean much.

Stars of this show far aren’t undoubtably Indian companies and products, indian industry has now become very mature and R&D efforts of decades are bearing fruit, what a transformation!

Also, where are those presstitutes who were crying about BLR losing Aero India now? Clearly the airbase isn’t suitable to host such a massive event. This car fire that disrupted flying displays is beyond a disgrace and you are trying to market yourselves as a maturing nation! Imagine how many foreign delegates have been invited to this even including prospective customers.

It’s the biggest air show in this part of the world and should be moved somewhere that can adequately support such a massive scale. BLR is not that place. Long term plan of shifting AI to purpose built location should be iniated.
