Another tidbit UTTAM AESA radar will in future potentially replace the current MMR radar on LCA MK1.

the Banana shape comes as a result of the sharp tapering of Russian ammo.

7.62 x51 NATO is much more straight.

Finally we got an estimate of the weight : 1.2-1.3 tonnes!
That's lighter than the initial spec put out by Brahmos themselves of 1.5 tonnes!
No wonder they're slinging two of them under Tejas!
First test in 3yrs....so production ready in 6-7 years (if all goes well!)
