The obvious answer: It's inferior to the PAF F-16's which are now all going to be upgraded to Block 50+

So Now U.S donate pakistan an AESA technology which is more proven than their European and Russian counterpart.
So India had no option to choose American fighter or all Indian plane become obsolete to their AESA. What an American Game!

Not necessarely more proven. AESA is relatively new, and the Europeans have a lot of experience with it also. And India won't choose an American plane just for an AESA radar, and the Americans won't give us full TOT so I doubt the American planes will be chosen (F-16, F-18). It's not a game, America's trying to appease/use Pakistan more and to do that, they need to satisfy it's needs (new F-16's against INDIA).

Between any Idea what will the annual production rate of the LCA has HAL and govt foresee that problem or will they wait another couple of years to build the necessary infrastructure.

Tejas are needed in South India to defend against the expected Sri Lankan invasion in 2012.

It is to iron out all the problems and it will also make sense to station her near Bangalore so that the engineers can get the IAF's feedback and integrate them into mark-2...........Also sulur has suicide drones(MiG-21) so the pilots feel safe in flying her and she will infuse some fresh life into the AFB.
