then they might have cleared a lot of mines too by dumping explosive for army to charge on paki posts across IB or LOC. Because that area is mined.

The area is mined for sure, but the mines are not necessarily located where they were planted- they have shifted because of rains, snow, landslides, floods etc. Charging across the minefield without charting out a safe path would be suicidal, not to mention any element of surprise would be gone, even if one mine goes off.

But would dumping the vispotak on mined area clears the mines .. that is doubtful. And If that area is even cleared then element of surprize is already gone.

How do they charge on posts is still mysery.. similar goes for porki khusra.. how the hell they are able to infilterate close to our posts whole area is mined.

As I said, the forces on both sides of the border carefully chart and survey the mined area. They have old maps of when the mines were planted, which are a good starting point but not reliable enough. Patrolling parties too keep an eye out for mines and try and update their information.

Plus, there are scouts and guides whose job is to chart the safest course through the minefield- not every inch of the land is mined, it's a general area. There are gaps in the minefield due to terrain, topology etc. It's these gaps that are exploited.

DM has said it himself that the army has a free hand to retaliate as they please.
And obviously the army is retaliating.
Casualties are happening on their side in a disproportionate way. They are losing far more than they can manage.
4 posts were recently destroyed in a single attack. even if you take a very conservative estimate of ten pigs per post, thats 40 pigs dead in a single action by the army.

But, the obvious thing is that ISPR will never release such details to the public on the other side. And obviously Indian media cannot cross the LoC to report on their casualties.
Regardless, certain details are slowly emerging in DAWN about the number of pigs being killed everyday.

On our side, Army itself is releasing reports of the jawans who have been injured or martyred on our side. Thats the difference between us and the pigs.
We honor our war dead.

But no, it doesnt please the fanboys and keyboard warriors here. All they'll do is bawl and cry and shout that the army is doing nothing.

If it continues like this then they will maintain the conventional equillibrium with Indian military too. And most probably this is their strategy.
