And why is it on a truck , trishul was quad packed along with radar on a tracked vehicle based on BMP 2 , wasn't it.

The missile seems too large to be trishul.

RV section looks different to me compared to Agni 1

And Agni 1 is taller than Prithvi and if you compare the unknown missile with the Prithvi TEL , then it don't fit .

The unknown missile is shorter than Agni 1

Who knows maybe drdo came up with a modified Agni 1 or a new missile (still in development maybe)

come to think about it, it looks as if A1, but size as pointed out by @NeXoft007 is true

It may have happen that launcher is original, missile is just small model, like they use dummy for the Nirbhay missiles.

Why they cant fully cover missile? As these r highly sensitive system even dust can cause problems

Mostly probably being developed for AMCA and UCAVs, it will be nice if it ends up with LCA too.

This looks like the tech used on B-2 spirit bombers. Which means it is likely to be maintenance intensive. They need to start researching carbon nanotubes-based paint or better-yet carbon nanotube infused fibre mats like in F-35.

2 canister TEL is a 8X8 TEL while the Pragathi launcher in this pic carries 6 canisters on a 12X12 TEL and hence the difference .
