well!! the Indian scientific term will be "Ghar Wapsi" for corona if corona infected person come back to china.

This is the medical term, debate with the proper people not me, and i don't care how it called in Indian, no offending.

Just like I don't like the term American Indian since they looks like more as East Asian... but the word Indian still refer to American original people.

PARIS

French pharmaceutical company Sanofi said on Wednesday that it is ready to offer the French authorities the anti-malarial drug in the fight against the new coronavirus killing thousands worldwide.

In a recent clinical trial, the Plaquenil drug was tested on 24 patients, and after six days, the virus had disappeared in three quarters of them.

The trial was carried out by Professor Didier Raoult, director of IHU Mediterranee Infection, a research institute based in Marseille.

Sanofi said they are in possession of several million doses, enough to treat 300,000 people infected with COVID-19.

"Sanofi is committed to making its treatment available to France," a company spokesperson said in a statement to the press.

Pakistan reports third death

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday asked people to self-quarantine for at least another 45 days as the country reported its third COVID-19 death and the total number of cases rose to 464. The third death was reported from Sindh province where the number of cases rose to 238, according to provincial spokesman Murtaza Wahab.

The formal name is SARS-COV-2 virus but informal name is China virus. People are beginning to call it China virus. The thread should be renamed to China virus.

Calm down people, everyone out here has family members with health issues which will surely get them killed if China Virus hits them.

No need to spread panic and fear, we are all in the same boat.

This is not the first time Bharat has faced such calamity, last pandemic killed of 12 million people out of 250 million population.

Sanofi has a near monopoly on its production and will take time for other pharma companies to make it. It depends on how bad the outbreak gets to determine if there are enough stocks. As it is now the French pharma giant has enough for all China Virus cases reported. Sanofi is ramping up production as we speak if the world needs more.

I welcome any cure from any nation, including France. I hope France prepares enough ECMO for sick people. China send almost all ECMOs to Wuhan, and a single hospital in Wuhan has five. It's so far the most effective way to save people.


There are planty of news about cure being invented by China, Japan, Germany, USA ... I hope it all work out! But the time is urgent and people are dying every minutes.
