Pakistan Section is a big joke on this forum.Other than having some comprehensive info on Pakistan military its full of Mujra videos,stupid news and rants.The few contributing Pakistani members are ridiculed for no reason whatsoever

We are a user driven forum. There was a time when the Staff tried to artificially to "tone down" things, but didn't have a big impact.

Finally some action on the part of staff. You have my utmost thanks. Please keep up the good work. Personally speaking, I don't think there is a need to artificially tone down things, as on a user driven forum, the users will always find news to doing what they want. But making some threads which only spread hatred as sticky shows quite support of staff for those activities. However, its nice to see that the staff has taken action on the request of the members.

First, thank you to DefCon, Cloud9, KS, Bose and any others who have chosen to speak out against slurs and derogatory comments against some countries and their citizens.

I appreciate the decision of the mods to un-stick some of the rather unsavory threads that were referenced. I also agree to some extent with LB's point that on a user driven forum content should have limited controls, and I think that if more and more users actually speak up to criticize others that resort to derogatory comments and/or slurs that the environment will slowly start to change.

you guys need a new skin for your forum and also some better organization as far as the forum goes there are just too many different subject forums or sub forums the whole forums organization needs to be done carefully. You guys need a brighter skin this dark background and other Colors just don't suit this skin. This forum has Color Mismatch all over the place be it Name of members or the skin or the header or the background everything from top to down is mismatched here.

I feel sleepy when i come to this site however i want to come to this Please think about some setting and changing the skin believe me it will be a good idea

and One more thing You guys have way too many Sticked threads that's just over the limit

yes DFI needs some face lift ,i guess its made on word press using bbforums . It need some featured post functionality at home page ,dynamic header image etc...

i have ideas sprouting in my head about the layout & functionality frankly speaking its a dead frog by looks,now some one will say its a defense forum we go by content not by

layout...... blah blah .... but you need to make a balance b/w those things....... people need refreshing look ,its bin a long time since you people have put that SU-MKI header

I am not interested in this over-the-top obsession with history that some posters nurse.

Such threads, owing to certain individuals, invariably tend to result in verbal slugfests.

As DFI netizens, we should be more interested in Present & Future. If at all, history is to be discussed, it should be from a military or politico-strategic perspective.

But, at the moment, we can do without anymore history threads. Lets rather focus on emerging security paradigm from a regional/global angle + emerging technologies with potential defense applications.

On a lighter note, IIRC, it was some religious thread where some of your best, most articulate, most inspirational & most evocative moorings were out-poured. Something to do with BJP in West Bengal

i like DFI , members here are very intelligent and have excellent knowledge on defence . But this is a problem for me . when i read there posts , i could hardly understand something .
