Indians are making headway in Australia.

There are now more Indian people in Australia than Chinese.

Australia talks a lot for being a penal colony.

India should be wary of Australia. They are the White man's Gunda in Asia supposed to keep all Asian nations in check.

Today it's china 20 years down the line it could be is.

Need to be extremely vary of this.

They don't feel anything.

Reality is they will always listin to the whims of UK and US.

Sooner or later India too will try to establish a indo based asian order in its vicinity. It's a natural progression for a civilizational state like bharat.

Asia is ours for the taking both militarily and economically. As long as India and Indians remember this we can continue in a upward trajectory.

By militarily I never meant invading everyone but rather protecting them and maintaining stability for economic benifits in return.

Aim for the stars so you reach the moon. Thus should be our philosophy always.

Yes, but it will be much easy to contain PRC over their before they try to spread their wings in Indian ocean.
Australia being in such proximity will also help India contain PRC.
A lot of coal and palm oil is imported by us from this region. We need to secure our trade routes.

There has been little India can do (alone) China has ports in Pakistan, bangladesh,
sri lanka and myanmar.
Does not matter much sir , even if they have ports on bangaldesh or Myanmar.
In an event of War, they will be fair targets .
In 1971 , india sank on or two british ships which were carrying weapons and ammunition to karachi.

As i said our failure to understand our own civilizational responsibility and power has resulted is being reduced to some low level regional power.

India needs to get a stick and start using it.

in modern times economic power comes thru military power. Soft power policy
would have to be thrown out.
For that we need mutual agreement pacts with other nations. A war of dominance and resources would not take us very far.

We need to follow the US model of establishing bases and influencing politics for regional dominance.

Aussies have looked towards India as a type of ally , as far as i know and that is from the days of the raj itself.
Aussies were confident that in a event of jap invasion of Australia.
Raj would send help and meaningful help .
And the raj did send help in form of lakhs of men and equipment in that part of Pacific

Most of these ports are with striking distance of our stand-off weapons and air assets. We also have solid intelligence around these ports.
Solomon Islands could help PRC get unterthered access to IOR and that is the problem.
